He is definitely one to look out for in the future well currently he doesn't possess a good domestic record but he has all the ingredients to become a good 4 Day workhorse type bowler, mostly bowls around in mid-130ks with his effort delivery reaching up to 140k, Is very tall and can generate awkward bounce and get away seam movement off the surface, Isn't very accurate but that can change in future.

He was part of the Karachi Dolphins team for Pentagular cup and Sarfraz Ahmed really praised him high before eventually dropping him from the squad lol.

I saw him in champions cup, he's nothing special.

Ali raza should be drafted

Not this guy

How tall

Mohammad Awais Anwar stars for Rawalpindi with a five-wicket haul (5/29) on Day One of Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2024, Group C, Round 2, against Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Looks like a combination of Shaheen and Umar Gul in his action , very tall and deceptive pace and bounce and good movement. Seems better than Ali Raza to be honest , May be a touch slower than Ali Raza but still bowling around 135-140k from the looks of it.

Has got strong wrist release resulting him in bowling outswingers like Dale Steyn with good pace and bounce , A mouthwatering prospect to be honest , should be groomed to play Test Cricket rather T20s.

Saw some YouTube vids of him last week. Looks promising

Correction to his height he is 6ft 5 not 4. So he is around Shaheen’s height and similar in pace currently.

He should be groomed for test cricket alongside Ali Raza , he swings the ball and Ali seams the ball , both should be in test squad after 2 seasons.
True. We need to groom seperate pacers for different formats and incentivise red ball cricket

He looks like someone with real potential. Just a bit of work on the coil release and we could have a real talent on our hands.

Really liked his snap off the wrist on his last delivery , that ball was delivered at serious pace and must be above 140k as batsmen even though he reacted quickly but the ball was still too quick for him , but yea in general his wrist position is so inconsistent with almost his every delivery and this might be the result of his in accuracy.

Already played 13 fc matches I think 25 FC matches is good enough number to induct the bowler in test setup provided he has selectable numbers

He has the build and pace, but the proof of the pudding will come when we see a close up of his seam. If he a saucer seam then it's curtains for him

While searching for his video, I found another Awais U19 pacer who surely looking 145k+ and getting the ball to swing and bounce on a extremely flat track

Look at the color of the pitch and see the delivery he bowled at 1:50 seconds , it nearly went above keepers head.

Mohammad Awais Anwar has performed brilliantly since coming onto the scene during the last domestic season.

He has since taken 40 wickets in just 13 First-Class games, including 9 in 4 innings in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.

Can you unmerge and create a new thread for Muhammad Awais Abbas? He seems to be bowling around 145k+ consistently and get an awkward bounce and swing on a complete mud road.

Never seen a bowler like him who take pitch out the equation since very long.
