Why did the umpires not check this?

He has to touch it. From this picture it is inconclusive. Dhoni was once given out in NZ. The first time it did look okay. But the full motion showed he (Wagner I think) marginally encroached the return crease.

That is not even the right picture for the reference. Bowl has already halfway to the pitch.

Bowler was away from the crease.

Not a no-ball. Even if it was I'm glad that it wasn't called this pathetic team doesn't deserve to be in semi's a team like SA or even Zimbabwe deserves it more than Pakistan.

A quick look at the highlights reveals it wasn't even particularly close to being a back foot no ball. No idea why you've chosen the image that you have for the original post that doesn't give any relevant information.

Generally commentators immediately spot these noballs when they are close to cutting crease. This is a popular method of Imran khan to create angles.

Simple question - yes or no.

Other topics for the Mankad thread.

I think over the course of a game, good and bad decisions even out for the competing teams - particularly with neutral umpires.

This debate about no balls, of games finished, is wrong in my opinion.

Let's assume it was a no ball. So? The game is done.

10 of the best in the country couldn't score 130. That's where the issues are.

I am not properly aware of what counts as a backfoot no ball so cant make a comment here.

But OP there was a bounce in the last over I think which should had been given as a wide as it was quite high. See this is the issue I had with the Kohi no ball decision, that the player stature matters in giving umpire decisions

Not a no ball.

by the way Shaheen is NOT FIT. its an easy two with keeper also fumbled the ball... anyways whats done is done. Time to move on...and we need to stop crying about every single incident that there is a conspiracy against pakistan

The ball that Nawaz Was beaten? That's not a wide. Wasn't even head high
