While the design of this kit may appear somewhat outdated i would say but when Trent Boult wears it he brings it to life.

Kiwis have an advantage in these. Black colour looks great on kits

Tri-colour on shoulders by replacing 3 while stripes in the New Indian team jersey.

So the 3 stripes on the kits are back again. Looks nice nothing so extraordinary from these kits.

Indias kit looks brilliant! The different colour stripes makes it look far better. It would be great to see more teams sponsored by Adidas

New Zealand has nice looking kit too. Last few year they have been going for Retro look, usually it becomes after a few years, but New Zealand has made it work out

Pakistans kit looks good also. The colour of that star outline shape is some sort of acryllic or lime green. If this colour is replaced with a more yellow-green, or even just yellow colour, then that kit would looking amazing imo.

If India wins this WC or even makes the final, then Im sure this India will become one of the most iconic cricket jerseys of all time, like how 1992, 1999 kit is for Pakistan.

England 2019 kit was a really great (an now iconic) kit too

A classic look by Australia

Thats a great Netherlands Kit. Express the Orange!

Simple yet stands out

Although this Australian kit is better than their 2019 kit, this 2023 one is still quite bland for me, there is hardly any design.

Bangladesh vice captain Liton Das wearing the Bangladesh official kit for World Cup 2023.

Bangaldesh has a Great jersey, it actually looks like one of their better jerseys too, as this one looks quite clean and the colour, pattern combination combines nicely

Pakistan 2003 kit is underrated. Quality shirt. The legends looked so good in that top. Genuine superstars

2011 World Cup kit of Pakistan was the finest with the 1999 kit following as my second favorite.

All 1999 kits were epic
People need to stop saying that. That kit was mid. Parrot green color, thats just meh. I think the 2011 was pretty sick, and this year’s pretty good as well.

India 2003 was fabulous.. loved the tricolor backdrop to the India script. Also love NZ 2019 and Pak 2015.

1992 kits were my pick , though Indian kit was the worst . First time lights , kits etc made 1992 an unforgettable spectacle .

Zimbabwe 1992 was a matchless kit

I’m not able to vibe with the Bharatiya jersey as much as i vibed with the 1999 one or the 2011 one.

It’s not bad still. I like the colour.
Maybe it’s the big dream XI text that’s irritating me.

How can you vive vaijaan, it's written India in the jersey instead of Bharat

Dream11 logo will be not there in world cup kit instead india only

That is a cool Afghanistan kit. Usually Afghanistans jerseys are quite ordinary (as in similar) year after year, but I really like this change of design, the patterns is nice, its a bit too much black for me, but I think this will go down as one of Afghanistan's greatest ever jerseys I reckon.

Basically so far overall, 2023 WC jerseys have been really good

@MenInG, (or any other mods), do you have any pictures of the jerseys for South Africa, England and Sri Lanka?

Thanks

Pakistani kit is nothing special, just the usual regular. Why they can't bring the 99 kit theme back, it was the best kit and would have given extra motivation during WC in India. Lime green looks much better on our players than dark shiny green

Indeed the 1999 kit was fantastic but the current one with the thunder effect is also quite apealing.

I think England have the best jersey this time.

Neither too funky (like Sri Lanka's jersey) nor too simple. Balanced.

A big thanks to the staff members

And now, because I really like the talk about sports jerseys! here is my ranking of the 2023 cricket world cup Jerseys. Overall, Im going to have to say that the set of jerseys for this world cup is overall worse than the 2019 world cup jerseys... But maybe don't perceive that as horrible, the jersey are still good overall

10. Australia - This Jersey is just straight up plain. Hardly any design, a bit of aboriginal-based design seen on the side of the shirt, hardly can be seen. But there is nothing special at all in this kit for me, the jersey looks like a similar template as the 2015 wc kit, except without the stars

9. Sri Lanka - Its an overall nice jersey, there is a nice gradient of dark and lighter blue. But to be honest, what else is there though? It just looks much of the same to me, the lion picture is less animate/ more real looking which could look cool but for me it looks just a little bit out of place. However, I need to give credit for Sri Lanka, because since 2019 WC they have designed some great jerseys since then.

8. England - Well after the legendary 2019 WC England kit, I had high hopes. On first look, this 2023 England WC kit looks good clean and flashy but then this jersey just looks quite ordinary on further glances. There are already enough blue jerseys in cricket, and this England kit looks a lot like a training shirt to be honest, and then I wonder whether this even is an England shirt lol, because it really does look like a USA jersey.

7. Pakistan - It genuinely saddens me that I have ranked Pakistans Jersey so low on the list. But here are my reasons, which I have already said before: this jersey is quite bland and dull for me. Perhaps its because the green colours in this jersey are too heavy of a combination of dark and acryllic (?) green. And the star outline shape is not very evident since its too much on the outside. The material of the shirt looks off also. However, to be fair I have seen various reactions online, and it seems that most people think this jersey is great.

6. South Africa - In 2019 WC, South Africas (Home) Jersey was my least favourite, because it hardly looked like a South African cricket jersey to me. But now in 2023, they have designed are far better jersey, great job. Its a nice looking jersey, classic colours thankfully, the (separated) flag colours on the shoulders is the standout of this jersey, and the grey shape of the Protea flowers looks good also. In fact, I wouldn't be supposed at all if someone were to rank this jersey higher in the list.

5. Afghanistan - I looked back at 2019, and it turns out Afghanistan had a great 2019 WC jersey. And they have a great jersey in 2023 WC. I really like this change of design, the patterns is nice, its a bit too much black for me, but I think this will go down as one of Afghanistan's greatest ever jerseys I reckon. I also think if the pattern carries onto to the arms the kit would look even better imo. But this kit needs to be seen in matches to make a better judgment (just like other kits too to be honest).

4. New Zealand - Overall, a classic, great looking jersey. Why have I not ranked it higher in the list? Because we need to realise that (as others pointed out) New Zealand has a somewhat advantage wiht these jerseys, as Black Jerseys naturally look great, take their 2019 jersey for example. So I rated this kit on other features, and looking at the designs of this jersey, the grey outline of 'New Zealand' and the grey lines is plain and simple. In fact, the grey lines just look odd. There isn't any shapes, or patterns that represent something in New Zealand, like ferns or Koru (which are New Zealand famous plants). Nonetheless still a good looking jersey, the grey end of the arm is a good touch.

3. Netherlands - Express the Orange! Simple yet great. The blue colour with the flag colours and the end of the arm sleeves look great also, the shirt alos has nice patterns rather than just being orange only. The font of 'Netherlands' on the front of the shirt is a bit too small for me and it does somewhat hinder the jersey a bit for me. While the colours of West Indies are being missed, its great to have this Netherlands shirt, which I feel would probably be ranked as the best kit by numerous people for this WC.

2. Bangladesh - A fantastic Bangladesh Jersey! The tiger pattern of the shirt, though similar to their 2022 WC Kit, is the best pattern that suits a Bangladesh kit for me (from what Ive seen in the past). But two other things that stand out are: its a clean kit, and second is the red patterns mainly on the shoulder and a little bit on the front of the shirt near the waist. I briefly read that these red pattern design is to represent on the crafts and skills of the people of Bangladesh, which (if true) is brilliant! This jersey tells a great story. However, I doubt many people will like this jersey for the following reason: Bangladesh has it hard when designing their jersey imo, because I believe Dark green and red are two colours that really don't fit well with each other, which is why I believe over these years, Bangladesh jerseys (for me at least) are generally hard on the eye. So overall great Jersey, and to be honest, I actually think it could have been better!! If the red patterns don't just stop at shoulders, and continue to the arms also. Because the red pattern lines look a bit out of place when the shirt is tucked in.

1. India - And my favourite jersey for the 2023 WC goes to India!! Ive already written my thoughts on it (where perhaps I was hyping it up a bit too much...), basically its overall great looking jersey a nice pattern going on with the shirt, looks a little like a tiger claw? (Im not sure what it is). But anyways, what makes it look so great imo, is one the simplicity and clean look fits well, but its the Adidas three stripes representing the three main colours of the India flag that truly makes it look brilliant. The finest of touches, yet all the difference. It would be great to see more cricket team signed by Adidas!

Thanks for reading, if anyone did read it

I was watching Maxwell's batting against Shaheen and I think Pak's jersey is looking cool.

This dark green is looking much better than regular green used in Pak kits.
The thunder highlighter could've been placed better, it still is a good looking jersey.

England 2019 , Australia 1999, Pakistan 1992 & 99 , nz 99 , India 2003 - are the hest designs for me

96 was the worst WC for jerseys- really horrible..
2023- But too many blue and green jerseys overall . Blue- India England Afghanistan SL
Green- Pakistan Bangladesh southAfrica
The Australian yellow is so bland. Wish teams used more colors. That's why the Aussie kit always stands out- being yellow

Where is the pak kit. Assuming it’s not the first post?

Pakistan 2003 kit is underrated. Quality shirt. The legends looked so good in that top. Genuine superstars
I just love that kit, bought one for me in 2004. May be I started watching and understanding cricket in WC 2003. The first ever match I saw was Ind Vs Pak when Anwar hit a century and then Akhtar was spanked by Sachin and Sehwag.:uak

Cricket World Cup: India pick orange colour for training kit

Ahead of their opening World Cup fixture against Australia in Chennai, Team India have got a new training kit that resembles the famous Dutch Orange that is sported by The Netherlands football team.

For a team that is fondly called Men in Blue, their training kits have had different colours in the past with red and grey used in the past. But over the past decade, they have mostly worn only blue colour, a slightly darker shade than their match colour.

However, this is the first time India have sported an orange colour training gear. During the 2019 World Cup in England with the ICC making it mandatory to have home and away kits, India took the field against the hosts wearing a saffron shade t shirt and navy-blue pants.

Since the new kit partner Adidas came on board in June, India have been wearing a black training kit. The German manufacturer has also released new kit for the World Cup in the customary blue shade.

This orange kit is likely to be used during the World Cup as the black colour is known to absorb more heat than the light colours, which could possibly be a reason for the change of colour.

India, who arrived in Chennai on Wednesday, had their first full-fledged training session on Thursday afternoon. Virat Kohli started with a throwdown session with head coach Rahul Dravid before facing a testing spell from Mohammed Shami.

R Ashwin too had an extended batting session in the nets as Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav rolled their arms at the other net to Shreyas Iyer.

India trying to match Netherlands?

It’s the Bhagwa rang (Saffron) a colour symbol of Hinduism.

I might say the team also looks lovely in this colour kits.

I see us adopting this colour soon. For official kits.
