After a long time, Pakistan fans have witnessed something that would have been unimaginable few weeks ago. The India's embarrassing and shocking home series defeat at home against a New Zealand side who got schooled by Sri Lankan team less than a month ago. And equally shocking was Pakistan's series triumph against England after the fiasco in the first Test against England.

So as a Pakistani win which win was more fulfilling: their own triumph or New Zealand side's unexpected mauling of India. Also the same questions for Indian fans which result was more tougher to digest?

NZ beating us is far tougher to digest. 12 years of ruthless home dominance swept away in a stunning manner.

PAK-ENG doesn't even register in my mind by comparison.

Of the opinion to have grace and courtesy no matter the situation so definitely Pakistan victory is sweet

You have mentioned it a lot recently though.

So Pakistan actually wins a Test series after a long time and some fans are happy that India lost a series after a long time at home?

This thread itself is a joke.

Only the sadistic Pakistani fans would enjoy India's defeat more than their win
If you genuinely wanna know, India is my 3rd favourite team after NZ and aus and had it been any other team I wouldn't be so happy.

The reason I'm laughing is to spite some Indians who have been annoying me with trolling upon trolling.

Just like pakistani posters, Indian posters don't listen to me either. Just a few weeks ago they were shouting Current india > Classic Australia in my ear and how they broke the wc jinx when I told them that they won due to lucky timing.

Rohit and Kohli managed to empty the last canister of gas they had left in the tank at the perfect moment against aus and sa. And bumrah hit his golden stride in wc 2024.

After that it was an ego war.

Also recently some of the claims have just been getting absurd. We went from overglorfying Sachin and kohli which makes sense as their All Time greats, to overglorifying Ashwin who's probably the most rubbish overseas spinner and biggest Home bully fraud I have ever witnessed.

Some of it was stupid beyond belief.

Will always value the Pakistan win more. Our cricket was truly in the gutters until a new hope was ignited.

Tbh, I never knew NZ could beat India at home. Bearing in mind these results barely a month old. What happened @Devadwal and @Rajdeep speaks. Hopefully Morne Morkel would be well

Rohit Sharma in a press conference said following:

"We have lost only 2 games. We have won so many matches in India, where batters have played well in bad pitches, why are we not focusing on that? This is the first time that we have collapsed. 12 saal me ek baar to allowed hai yaar. If we were collapsing since 12 years, we would have not won anything. Expectations are high in India that we have to win every thing. We have made that habit. It is not your fault, it is us who have held ourselves to the best standards,"

"It has happened in the last two Test matches, we’ve won 18 consecutive series at home which means we’ve done a lot of things right. We’ve performed exceptionally well over the past number of years. Hence, I won’t go too deep into it and that we’ve messed up a lot. I think in 2-3 innings we underperformed with the bat, but it happens when you’re performing consistently for so long, you come to a loss,"

Time doesn't wait when times are changing

An Indian loss in the 3rd Test against New Zealand could be a game changer for WTC 2025 although it's more of an embarrassment for Gambhir and Rohit than Indian fans
