[PICTURES] Peshawar Zalmi take 15 young cancer patients to the PSL 2018

Wonderful gesture by Zalmi second year running.

Youngsters on their way from Pakistan to Dubai.

Defending Champions PSL Peshawar Zalmi have invited 13 child cancer patients from Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital to witness the opening ceremony along with other Zalmi matches.

13 child cancer patients along with two Shaukat Khanum Hospital staff members have reached Dubai on invitation of Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Mr. Javed Afridi to watch the opening ceremony along with other Zalmi games. Mr. Afridi started that this step was taken to strengthen the moto of Peshawar Zalmi Foundation with is to Bring back Smiles.

“We are proud to host these young children. They are our guest and we will make sure that they have a wonderful trip. Everyone at Peshawar Zalmi is very excited with their presence and Zalmi players are looking forward to spending time with them. These children are in fact a source of pride and motivation for us all”.

The child cancer patients will enjoy the dazzling PSL opening ceremony and will be taken around to visit Dubai attractions. In the previous edition Peshawar Zalmi had invited students from Army Public School Peshawar on a similar trip.

The Children and parents are very excited about the trip and thanked Peshawar Zalmi Chairman Mr. Javed Afridi for making their dream of watching PSL games come true.

Its great work Zalmi, bringing these kids is great to see as the kids and their families have been through hell.

Love this initiative from Zalmi

Wish the other franchises would do something similar.
