Ludicrous that Karachi v Lahore game will be happening in Lahore twice.

And there should be at least 2 games in Peshawar. Make it Day and Night on the same day even.

Pindi v ISb in Pindi, that's a good thing

Imran Khan Stadium 🏟, hopefully the crowd will make it tough for the regime

The trophy of the HBL Pakistan Super League 11 was unveiled in a ceremony held at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi today marking the beginning of a new era for the country’s marquee T20 tournament.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by HBL PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer, representatives of all eight teams, officials from title sponsor HBL, representatives of Hanif Jewellers and members of the media.

The trophy designed and manufactured by Hanif Jewellers, has been handcrafted by 18 master artisans who devoted more than 2,600 hours to complete the masterpiece. The design reflects the journey and growth of the HBL Pakistan Super League over the past decade.

At the base of the trophy, eight emerald-cut Gemstones represent the colours of the eight HBL PSL franchises, symbolising the pride of the cities they represent. The tall structure of the trophy signifies discipline, determination and teamwork required to reach the pinnacle of the competition, while the Crescent and Star at the top reflect unity, hope and national pride. The trophy is adorned with more than 1,600 Gemstones, highlighting the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into its creation.

Speaking at the ceremony, HBL PSL Chief Executive Officer Salman Naseer said:

“This is a historic occasion for the HBL Pakistan Super League as we step into a new era after successfully completing 10 seasons. Over the years, the league has grown stronger with the addition of new teams, record-breaking player auctions, landmark broadcast agreements and ever-increasing support from fans across Pakistan and around the world.

Pindi owner said the reason for pindiz name was that he wanted a single name no qafia radeef stuff and wanted it to be unique but rawalpindi pinidiz is so bad.

Scheduling could have been a bit better.i.e., karachi vs hyderabad 1 match is in lahore. No need for this. It should be in karachi as it ll be home for karachi and hyderabad

Once again pathetic scheduling

At least could have first built proper stadiums for home games

More than a decade has passed but still clowns running the show

Random scheduling tbh

Multan Vs Islamabad is in lahore when both cities have home stadium
Lahore vs islamabad and zalmi vs united is in Fsbd

LAHORE VS PINDI IN FAISALABAD WHYYY??
BOTH CITIES HAVE STADIUM. HAVE 1 HOME 1 AWAY GAME
give faisalabad games of hyderabad or quetta but why this

Multan vs Karachi in lahore???

Random stuff from psl managment

Karachi has rightfully been punished for their pathetic past attendances.

Multan should have been given more games but the PCB blames logistics for minimizing the amount of games there.

In an ideal world Peshawar should have had more games but even one game will be a good start and will lead to more games being played there in the long run.

PCB hands are tied. Broadcasters told the PCB they can only pay the PCB a certain amount per year and they will not get more money for playing more games. PCB had no choice but to opt for the cost effective route. Besides do fans really want a 2 month league? BBL expanded their window to 2 months and it lead to viewer fatigue and a decline in ratings which is why they were forced to condense it.

I get your point
But what's the point of teams which can't play even in their home city

This is nonsense

Transfer window for HBL PSL 11 is open now

Lahore, 12 March 2026:

The transfer window for the HBL Pakistan Super League 11 is open now and will remain open until Wednesday, 18 March during which franchises will be allowed to make player transfers in accordance with the tournament regulations and salary cap rules.

The following types of transfers will be permitted during the window:

•Player for Player: Two franchises may swap players with each other.

•Player for Money: A franchise may transfer a player to another franchise in return for an agreed financial amount from the respective team's remaining salary purse

•Player for Player and Money: Franchises may exchange players, with one franchise also receiving an agreed financial amount as part of the transfer.

All transfers must be completed within the salary cap of the respective franchises and any transfer will only be finalised once it is approved by the Pakistan Cricket Board in line with the HBL PSL 11 regulations.

Due to the exceptional circumstances under which Multan Sultans were acquired, the franchise with the approval of the other teams has been granted an incremental PKR 1.2 crore increase in their salary cap, along with permission to make two additional signings, taking their maximum squad size to 22 players, although they will, like other teams be limited to a matchday squad size of 20 players.

The eight-team 11th edition of HBL PSL is set to be played at six venues from 26 March to 3 May.

I cant beleive they haven't forced renaming the Imran Khan stadium.

Also, among all years, this year could be a bit risky to include Peshawar given active engagement with Afghanistan. Although there have been incidents in the heart of Islamabad so I guess it is what it is.

Absolute clowns.

Every league around the world in any sport only thrives on proper home and away fixtures. It's how you captalise on support, building loyalty and excitement.

2 venues in Lahore & Karachi (a stadium that isn't even renovated)
No crowd.
Security threat through out the tournament of a major war breaking out.
Terrorism threat.

Damn.

Should be postponed or cancelled tbh.

Mr. Naqvi better prepare for the war. We need our Interior Minister fresh and ready before Imam Mehdi comes

Pakistan shouldn't take a risky if there is genuine security threat. It took years for cricket to resume in Pakistan. Any incident can undo all the progress made in last 15-16 years.

Keep crowd in but reduce to 1 game against each vs 2 games and cut tournament in half.

Minimally should at least have crowd for playoffs. Or marquee game like Lahore vs karachi.

Captain's Press Conference Ahead of PSL 11

Shaheen Shah Afridi on Title Defense

Question (Interviewer): When asked about defending his title again this season, given his team’s previous success in Lahore, how confident he feels about repeating that achievement—

Shaheen Shah Afridi said:
“First of all, I would like to thank everyone. We have prepared well for this season. We had two days of practice before the PSL and set up a camp in Islamabad at our high-performance centre. The local players have prepared well, and our aim is to play good cricket and deliver strong performances.”

Babar Azam on Playing Without Crowds

Question (Interviewer): When asked how he plans to approach PSL 11 with limited or no crowd presence, and what message he has for fans—

Babar Azam said:
“First of all, I would like to thank everyone for coming and for your continued support. We hope you will keep supporting us. It will feel different without the crowd—we will miss them, and they will miss the matches too. The crowd brings a unique energy and motivation. Every team has its own fans, and their support makes a big difference.”

Babar Azam on Bowling Combinations & Squad Depth

Question (Interviewer): When asked about Peshawar Zalmi’s improved bowling attack, including overseas signings who may only be partially available, and the team’s backup plans—

Babar Azam said:
“As you have seen, we have made strong picks this season. Our bowling attack struggled last year, but we have addressed that issue. Now, it’s about executing our plans. No matter how good your planning is, it’s useless without execution, so our main focus will be on delivering on the field.”

Marnus Labuschagne on “Aussie Mindset”

Question (Interviewer): When asked about bringing an ‘Australian mindset’ into the team and whether he has discussed this with management—

Marnus Labuschagne said:
“We haven’t spoken too much in depth about it. For us, it’s about individuals being themselves. I’ll try to lead in the same way I do for my state side back home—empowering players to trust their skills and showcase their abilities.”

Shadab, Babar & Shaheen on T20 Roles and Criticism

Question (Interviewer): When asked about Shadab Khan’s consistency and leadership potential, Babar’s T20 strike rate concerns, and whether Shaheen aims to prove himself as a T20 captain—

Shaheen Shah Afridi responded (on behalf of the group):
“First of all, we are here to talk about the PSL—it is our league. Questions should be focused on the PSL. When we are discussing Pakistan cricket, you can ask these questions, and you will get proper answers then. Thank you.”

Future of PSL and Emerging Stars

Question (Interviewer): When asked whether PSL can produce the next generation of stars like Shaheen, Babar, and Rizwan over the next decade—

Shaheen Shah Afridi said:
“I think the Pakistan Cricket Board and PSL have been very successful over the past 10 years. In the next 10 years, we hope that players and the board continue to perform well. We have already seen new stars emerging—Pakistan Shaheens have played excellent cricket. This shows that future bowlers and batters will continue to rise. I believe we will keep seeing quality players and good cricket in Pakistan.”

Pressure Without Fans & New Franchise Experience

Question (Interviewer): When asked whether the absence of fans would impact performances and about the experience of joining a new franchise—

Marnus Labuschagne said:
“There is always pressure, whether you’re playing in the PSL, BBL, or for Australia. That doesn’t change. It’s an exciting opportunity to be part of a new franchise and the PSL this season. You have to look at it as a great chance to showcase your skills on a big stage.”

Ashton Turner

Ashton Turner said:
Coming from Australia to Pakistan, I've noticed the unique and exhilarating cricketing environment here. There is such a strong connection between the teams and ownership, and with the new coaching setup bringing an exciting nature to the group, the brand of cricket is exciting and many are looking forward to it on this massive stage."

David Warner on Karachi Kings’ Preparation

Question (Interviewer): When asked about Karachi Kings’ squad additions, preparations, and their warm-up match—

David Warner said:
“It’s great to have those players in our group. For us, it’s about building on what we did last year and improving our start. We had five home games previously, but now we’re limited to two venues, so there’s no excuse—we need to adapt quickly. We have a strong squad and did well at the auction. Hopefully, we can perform better this season.”

David Warner on Fitness at 39

Question (Interviewer): When asked how he maintains fitness and performance levels at 39 years of age—

David Warner said:
“I’m extremely fit—probably fitter than most 39-year-olds still playing the game. It comes down to a healthy diet, running, and consistent training. Hopefully, I can score runs and put the team in a strong position.”
