[PICTURES] PSL 2020 Draft - Discussion Thread

Decent picks from Multan till now but they need atleast one power hitter opener.

Karachi Kings pick Sharjeel Khan. Not sure about that, they didn't need him unless Babar moves to No.3.

KK with Hales, Babar and Sharjeel. So either Babar will move one down or Hales.

Learning to get hit by Babar for record number of fours? :wahab2

So depressing to see no quality young wicketkeeper batsmen in Pakistan domestic especially for t20 format

Babar shouldn't. He utilizes the power play well and it will slow down KK pace if Babar comes to no. 3

I agree. Hales can come in at no 3 as he has done before as well for other teams.

There are 1 or 2 spots for young pacers in KK as currently they only have Amir, Jordan and Yamin.

And Lahore needs to add in a genuine spinner or two.

Amla ,lewis narine, tahir ,mathews, perara is not pick by any franchise

I think there was a lot of competition in Platinum and diamond while they wouldnt have wanted to demote further.

Karachi seems to have transformed.

Mickey Arthur totally RUINED that franchise. They have so much better picks this time.

Who from Karachi Kings is feeling happy?

Pakistan Super League

Well I won’t lie, I would love to play for Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League. After all they are my local team, but I’d be more than happy to play for any team if given the chance.

Welcome to Multan Sultans Zeeshan!

Best moment of this year's draft. From 2nd XI to this.

KK clear winner of this round as well.

Very odd situation. Live stream will start in 4 mins or so

Mohammad Mohsin gets picked by Zalmi. A good pick but will he actually play?

He does well in T20s as his stats show. More often than not his 4 overs provide decent control

It will be interesting to see how Irfan fares in a PSL tournament, now that it is played entirely in Pakistan. Scoring will be easier here than the UAE because the wickets have more pace and the boundaries are considerably smaller. So overall his margin for error is a lot smaller.

I know he's done well in other domestic tournaments (played in Pakistan), however this time round he is up against some of the most destructive overseas players in world cricket and he won't have the privilege of bowling to the more substandard Pakistani batsmen, he would find in other home T20 tournaments.

I'm not doubting his abilities, but I don't think we can say his past performances (in the recent year or so) warrant him to be Platinum status.
