Faf isn’t 100% committed to PSL.
Sarfaraz is right, the team is choking fielding chances at crucial moments.
Looked to be really involved with the bowlers and was discussing plans with them.
I mean he will be replaced as soon as Gayle returns. So he isn’t here for the entire season as it is. Maybe next year considering he would have retired from SA in international cricket also. This year it wouldn’t be right to make him captain with his availability
They should have replaced him before the tournament started and let him concentrate on his batting and keeping.
At the moment he's got too much on his plate, batting at 4 or opening, keeping wicket, captaincy, the rivalry with Rizwan, the hope to play for Pakistan again.
No one to replace him with. The only young local players are Hasnain and Azam Khan

To be fair, if Sarfaraz had won all 3 tosses instead of lost them all, we might not be having this discussion.
8 out of 8 matches have been won by the toss-winning, chasing team
There aren't many other options.
The bowlers bowled pathetically, so what can he do in that situation.
When you put 190+ on the board, you expect that your bowlers bowl competently, but that was not shown. Bowlers failed to execute simple plans, and two of the dismissals early on were due to Sarfaraz's field changes, don't forget.
He's not the problem, it's the Quetta bowling attack. They look to be strong on paper but are actually quite weak. They need to remove Shinwari for someone else, he's not a good T20 bowler. Nawaz should be bowled more in my opinion, he's a proven performer for QG, and it's pretty weird how he only bowled two overs on the pitch despite keeping a good ER.
QG and MS have the two weakest bowling lineups.
Also, why is Mohammad Imran's bowling performance going under the radar, he bowled quite well if I'm being honest. Looks to understand T20 bowling, and is being molded into a death overs specialist from what I'm seeing.
Not sure if people saw one of the interviews they have during the game, with QG owner.
They seem to have a soft spot for Sarf and arent looking at it the way we are. Seems to be the case of "Its our money - we will do as we please"

Thiers no point in changing the captain now as faf may not find a place when gayle is back.i said this in another thread quetta bowling will consistanly leak runs.
Make Azam Khan keep, drop sarfaraz and Faf will find a place in the XI.
He did all this as captain of Pakistan for years. His antics on the field of screaming and shouting at everyone isn't linked to having too much on his plate. This is what he has always done. It's just that when you win, everyone accepts it as keeping the boys in order. When you lose, everyone thinks you're nuts.
No, it was never consistently as bad as it is at the moment.
As Pakistan captain he had his moments, but he's a lot worse now.
Second consecutive year of mediocre performances. Despite the owners and head coach’s likability for Sarfaraz and him doing well as captain in the first 4 editions, surely they will give this idea a thought and will have to analyze how they can improve.
What I do agree with is the fact that Sarfaraz doesn’t have the same aggressive, controlling attitude towards his overseas players. He throws the Pakistani players under the bus on National TV but he wouldn’t do the same to Steyn who literally bowled terrible all game
Why just Sarfaraz though? What about Moon Khan and his nepotistic selections like his son? What has his son done in domestic cricket to get selected in the PSL?
There is a simple explanation for this. Overseas players don’t need the aggressive controlling attitude that Pakistani players need to get on the act. Therefore Sarfraz knows how to get the best out of the players. Another reason is that overseas players don’t play for the Pakistan team. He does not care for there development as players as much as he would for a young talented Pakistan player. So its obvious he would let loose on who he cares for.
Is Sarfaraz missing the essential ingredients which were part of his last PSL victory?

Not sure how he can stay on as captain?
