The new ODI kit looks very cheap and tacky, anyone else agree?

Don’t mind it tbh

If the numbers on the short were white instead of gold it would be a lot better but still good none the less

The design is good, but the number and name on the back look tacky. Those things need to be a different colour.

I think the CT one was way better looking then this one, i thought we left collars behind in the 90's where they belong.

I personally love this kit.

Was tired of the same ol' plain green with no design on it.

CT17 was a bit better with those golden designs on the sides

But this is one of the better ones we've seen in a while.

Should’ve kept the CT one for a while because we were champions in them.

Looks awful, like a lame version of a South Africa kit.

Thanks for pointing this out, not watching the match.

The printing and quality of kit in not of international standard seen with other cricket teams. No finishing, looks like a local National T20 kit was sent. Most probably there is hint of corruption here PCB chief wanted to make some friend earn a huge margin of profit even if it embarasses the Country's National Team.

Lolwut.

SA wear forest green.

Talking about this one:

Quality is the only problem; But color and design-wise, it's right up there.

i really like these kits which have both dark and lime green like Pakistan used in 2004 vs india and in wt20 2007.

And again, I'd say if some day I become the kit designer, I'll bring the 2009 WC kit back and never change it...

It seems like in cricket it is mostly Pakistan who keep changing their kits every time they come to the ground. Literally every series you see it getting worse.

This is not the worst but like most have already said, the writing in the back should have been a little larger font easier to read and also should be in white and not gold/yellow. They seem to have an obsession in using gold/yellow in all their kits everytime.

Its the half light green-half dark green thing with both.

Best recent ODI kit I can remember would be the one we used around 2011-12:

Pakistan-Asia-Cup-2012.jpg

Yes this from the recent times was the best kits they had albeit for a short period like always.

Is there a day at PP when someone doesn't open a thread castigating/loving a new kit Pakistan brings out?

Goodness me.

It looks good, but as is always the case with our kits, the quality looks really poor. Something that you might pick up from the streets of Anarkali for PKR 50.

We really do need a credible international kit supplier, but that is not going to happen any time soon. Nike, Adidas, NB etc. gain nothing from producing kits for us.

Should get rid of the collars. Who even wears that in sports anymore? I do remember the CA guy saying when Pakistan chose Slazenger they just outsourced the kit production to a local Pakistani company..so same third quality kits but with a Slazenger sticker on them. Pointless.

Decent bit nowhere near as good as the Boom Boom one for the 2011 World Cup.

Wish Cool & Cool could rebrand themselves and give them a better name - looks idiotic that name on our shirts (altho they are paying etc)

After this series next series this kit 'll be praised.. Fans and their wishers ..never happy. Atleast we are not blue.

Need an Adidas or Nike type company to come up with a good kit.

However after the events of 2010 neither would go anywhere near Pakistan cricket.

Rona dhona is Pakistani's favourite time pass.

It's a completely fine kit, but some fans just want a reason to slash their wrists.

Bhai aap bhi kabse Babar waghaira ko le ke thora rona dhona toh kar hi rahay hain :yk

PPers need to just relax and enjoy.

This series is an easy 5-0 sweep, and we are on our way to being a to being a top 3 ODI side.

Test side is in transition and it's only a matter of time before things go uphill. Just be patient there.

Pakistan cricket is just fine. Kits, players, captain. All is well.

I don't like it that much but it's not the worst. Should have stuck to champions trophy kit imo. This kit should've been used after t20 wc2014 as the kit in that event resembles this kit.

I'm so glad we r sponsored by pepsi- a global brand. Without the Pepsi logo our kit would look like a national t20 competitionesque shirt.

We all know you dont want to admit the jersey looks good just cause its new, the jersey is saaaxy

I love that kit looks amazing, I was so surprised when I saw it this morning looks sick! One of the best if not the best kit since the 2015 WC Kit imo.

The only thing I would do if I was in charge to make it even better is make that green on the top portion a bright neon green / lime green color so it pops out more with the dark green. Than I am not sure but imo I think the numbers would look better if they were a bit more brighter like a bright yellow.

Any worldwide brand would be great! This is a list of brands I always wished were our sponsors, I would take any of these!

Nike, Adidas, Puma, Reebok, Under Armour, New Balance, anyone of these would do! Unfortunately however it probably isn't going to happen.

Pak fans will always find something to cry about.

Bring in 92 WC kit and everyone will be happy which IMO is vastly overrated

I was tired of seeing our players look like cans of sprite, now I am loving the fact that they look like bottles of mountain dew

How is it the best kit? Look at the crescent and the star.It is so weirdly shaped

Exactly, I don't know why people like this kit. The crescent is so ugly and the misplaced star adds to unaesthetic appeal.

Colors are fine thought.

I like the kit, especially the lime green. The dark green is OK but tends to blend in too much with the outfield.

Lmao we had a new kit just for the independence cup aka 3 games... And now another change. That sea blue one was good idk why another change.

Seems like we got a little too much prize money from CT17 and PCB doesn't know how to spend it, so here we are. That, or these low quality kits only last for 1 series.

This one isn't bad though. Could get used to it.

I think we will be using sea blue kit in t20s only.

Surely don't most teams make a profit from kits? I mean if anything the kits themselves are an advertisement, sports brands might even do it free, or even pay the team for the privilege.

To me no Pakistani kit has ever come close to the 2000 Carlton & United Series in Australia. Dark green with white sides.

Maybe that is an away kit or T20 kit just like SA and SL

SAME. Have no idea why so many people like this kit. The placement of that huge crescent and star is so bad, it's not even funny. I guess not everyone has a taste for aesthetics.

As for our current kit, it's equally horrible. Most people with a good aesthetic sense will agree. That light green on the top half is cringe worthy. CT'17 one was so much better.

The reason why these companies don’t show enough interest in manufacturing such products in Pakistan is because Pakistani markets does not give them enough exclusivity on its products. They will manufacture one kit for the national side and then the next day counterfeit product will be selling on the streets with less then half price. Sports manufacturers probably don’t like taking such risks.

Both our current kits (ODI / T20) are quite nice. The ODI kit is on another level though
