“Cricket is a badbakht game, and cricketers are shaitan. Our people should be ashamed of loving this sport when we have so many problems in this country”
- Tariq Jameel, not long ago.
I think the H word might die of shame for being associated with this man, so I will not do the honors.
For those who prefer a first-hand experience, go to YouTube and search for Tariq Jameel’s views on cricket and cricketers.
all of them are hypocrites.
Look at the above pic. Two fixers who never accepted their mistake and 1 serial cheater are there.
Whats the point of being fascinated by the truth and self righteous if you are not going to apply it on yourself.

Sorry but have you spoken to Tariq Jameel? Is it possible that he has changed his mind?
I was fascinated by PCT as a kid who grew up in 90s but ever since religion has come in even though I like some players just so hard to control an inner dislike coz this new aspect.
It's their personal choice though, and nothing against it.
Pakistan cricket does need to be secularized like it was in the 90s and the days of IK prior to that.
There's been a class shift in cricket, you won't get kids from educated families trying to become pro cricketers.
The only woke/liberal cricketer I can think of is Sana Mir.
Although that is true, it was only until the infiltration of Pakistan cricket by the Tableeghi during Inzy's regain as captain when this had began. Since then their influence hasn't ceased to exist evident from the post-match interviews where the players are taking words of the same script.
The tableeghi's clip the minds of the youth, they almost don't want you to think or be curious and how can one individual grow mentally without curiosity? That is why cricketers from the 90s were do different from the ones we produced in the 00s.

As predicted, this thread is filled with hypocrites, who would promote freedom of expression and right but would get out of shape when a person practice that freedom, particularly ‘religious’.

Know many individuals who are members of tableeghi, who happen to be doctors, engineer, in real state, writing books, etc.
Stop spreading false narrative there is no correlation.
No adoring the Tableeghi and being religious are not synonymous in any way, shape or form. From the top of my head I can name Moeen Ali, Hashim Amla and Younis Khan who live very religious lifestyles but are not are associated with the Tableeghi.
Think before you start calling the majority of the posters hypocrites.
Ofcourse you do, and here we have cricketers who are also part of the jamaat. But that's not my point. My point is the youth's brain should not be poisoned with this rhetoric, don't do this, don't do that working for a bank is haram, art is haram, listening to songs is haram, this is haram that is haram, everything is haram. The tableeghs are smart they know if they get the top personalities they will win over the masses, and that's exactly what they've done for the last 20+ years.
If he has changed his mind he should be strong enough to say that he was wrong or at least make it clear that he has changed his views.
