I am outraged.

Misbah as Head Coach is junior and subordinate to the Captain.

So why is Misbah standing at the head of the group addressing the team? He has no right to do so, just as Justin Langer is only welcome to address the Australian team if and when his boss Tim Paine invites him to.

The power structure is the wrong way round here, and it looks as if the Worst Captain Ever To Tour Australia has already pre-emptively launched a coup and overthrown his own Captain.

And yes, I know that Misbah is also the Chief Selector. But that role ended when the squad was announced.

It looks as if Azhar Ali has already lost a power struggle, and Pakistan is in desperate trouble unless someone puts the Head Coach back in his place.

Faida kya in videos ka end mai result will be same aur zillat and more pitai.

Why was this not a problem when Mickey was in charge?

Why was this not a problem when Mickey was in charge?
Because first Misbah and then Sarfraz was Mickey’s boss, and he always acknowledged it and deferred to them.

That’s why the youngsters only joined the Test team after Misbah retired. Doing what happened in the Third Test in South Africa - dropping Yasir Shah and replacing him with Shadab Khan who took 4 wickets and hit a 50 - was unthinkable when Mickey had to defer to Misbah.

Do you really think that Azhar Ali is allowed to say to Misbah “I am not playing Yasir Shah and Imran Khan, I want four proper quick bowlers”?

Misbah has power over his coach. Azhar clearly does not.

It may had been the case when Misbah was captain as he was a long term captain and Mickey was new in the management, but Mickey made most decisions when Sarfraz was captain, and often took over the speeches to the squad. There is nothing wrong with that, the captain rules on the field, whilst the coach discusses strategies during training sessions , ofcourse with captains mutual understanding.

Misbah is a very stubborn it seems once he makes his decision about something he goes till the right end of it so far that has been a blessing in disguise for everyone and a bit of humble pie.
You can never read his face as no
Matter which situation you find him he doesn’t stutter in his speech or presentation, even if it means boring the audience beyond death. I am adamant that for now misbah is trying to give the upmost exposure to all his possible players he could use come next World Cup.

We must also realise that by not taking many deserving players or better suited t20 pro’s he has ensured that the coming PSL which is the only domestic product we have will now be as fiercely rivalled, competitive, edge biting Season we have had. Simple reason is from the start of the year all players are who will have the desire to win the cup will do their most to continue to impress all year long. So the likes of sarfraz Malik Hafeez and who ever is out will have the chance to just reach a new level of performance.

I think overhaul looking at what misbah or the likes of Younis achieved throughout their careers just through continuous hard word he wants upcoming cricketers to do just the same and not rest.

I think misbah has shown the courage that all have asked for only thing is to back that up the energy required rather than sitting back and making hawai excuses.

All the gaffer is asking is to go out and PLAY!

Interesting. This is the most optimistic interpretation of Misbah's coaching and decisions I have seen so far.

Good days ahead for our Test team finally

Tough tour with lots of learnings. Start winning from the upcoming SL home series. Then continue that momentum and break free from the existing darkness.

Would have been much better hitting that tile with a bowling machine. Surprised didnt seen anyone having a go with a machine.

The machine can be in accurate at times. It can go a couple of feet off and would take a while to set in place. If it accidently hits the edge of the tile then it can go very wrong. Also using the tile with the bowling machine would be too quick. A person can stand close to the tile and throw it from close so it is far less likely to hit the edge or miss.

Shaheen seems a quality bat in the making. I'm predicting a Test century in the subcontinent before he's done. Or England?
