After Hassan Ali's marriage rumours went viral, Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim is all set to exchange wedding vows this month.

The all-rounder cricketer is getting hitched to London-based Sania Ashfaq in a ceremony to be held in Islamabad on 26 August. According to our reporter, the lovebirds met in London for the first time and have known each other for a while now before deciding to make it official; the families are busy with the wedding preparations.

Imad is currently playing for Nottinghamshire in the T20 Vitality Blast but he plans on taking a break for his big day: “I will get a week’s break from my professional commitments for the marriage ceremony and will rejoin Nottinghamshire for the remaining matches,” the cricketer shared.

Weddings in summers are really insane in the sense with all the heat and clothes that one has to wear.

Despite all the A/C's and what not it still is not a great experience to have.

I have not been to a wedding in the summers for a good decade if not more especially in Pakistan.

In my opinion, if you try too hard to get married or get GF, you may not get one.

Just live a successful life with no drama and chicks should come. No need to chase them.

Yes he confirmed this to me yesterday - 26th August.

Another Pakistani Cricketer getting married to a British Citizen

Cricketer Imad Wasim has invited the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan for his wedding ceremony, scheduled on August 26 in Islamabad.

Imad, who is all set to tie the knot with British-born-Pakistani girl Sania Ashfaq, revealed his wedding card on Wednesday.

Besides PM Khan, Senator Faisal Javed and Naeem-ul-Haque are also invited for Imad’s wedding.

Moreover, Imad has also invited the chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ehsan Mani, MD Wasim Khan, former cricketers Wasim Akram and Shahid Afridi.

It is pertinent to mention here that it is a marriage season in Pakistan cricket team as on August 20, Hasan Ali got married to an Indian girl Samiya Arzoo.

All UK citizens? Why not Canadian, US or Australian Pakistani brides?

Cause they play a lot of cricket in the UK.

Anyways I don't know why you're so salty cause of Imad and Hasan Ali getting married. :))

Not salty 😂. They aren't the only people getting married. But no harm in asking questions like everyone does

What are you talking about... :danish

She looks very Pakistani

She would easily pass for a Italian or Greek or Turkish.

I have seen documentaries on Pak and most are brown to light brown. This woman is very pale. May be a make up less pic will clear it.

I always felt its better if the sherwani comes till the knee, but i guess fashion has changed now

The work on it is very good though.

In Pak the fashion is for Sherwani to be just AT the knee or stop slightly before it. Also shalwar has totally gone out of fashion, and slim straight pant style "pajama" are the preferred fashion, as you can see from Imad's pics.

That's like saying all 1.3 billion Indians look the same

Yup know about the pant style with even space for belt, just bought last year one for a family wedding, not a pyjama as such ,but was at knee ,Imad’s pretty above knee than usual.

Shalwars are way comfortable but thats my personal opinion , and we still wear for sangeet but not wedding.

pajama under kameez or pajama under sherwani?

There is a big debate on pajam vs Shalwar when wearing a kameez.

Some people say it looks good, others say its against there masculinity.

Pajama is replacing shalwar across the board, atleast what I see in Karachi. Shalwar is considered old fashioned and dare I say a bit paindu. Now most styles are slimmer and more body hugging hence a loose lifafa type shalwar doesn't fit in well with the fashion of today. But styles come and go and who knows maybe a few years down the line shalwar becomes the rage again.

interesting, because in Pindi and Islamabd, people still prefer shalwar. I prefer the pajama because its looks slick.
And yes shalwar does look weird as its too baggy, but people in Isb/Rwp haven't pully adopted it yet, they say its too feminine and it goes against their masculinity..
