Excellent innings by Hasan Nawaz today ,not everyday you're req to slog an innings of substance it was which will help him to add another aspect in his batting.

he is not even matching him in batting..He is second coming of Afridi... without the bowling skills.![]()
and Afridi's handsomeness and charm...he is not even matching him in batting..
Actually wait... He is matching him.... 3 ducks in 5 games he has played.. Yeah he is Afridi without being a bowler. .
who compared him with imam??? LOLlike Imam doesn't make any sense
What's the title of this thread? Read it for me.who
who compared him with imam??? LOL
I'd take him over imam. Give him same matches as imam.SOMEBODY CHANGED THE TITLE ACTUALLY..IT WAS JUST INZAMAM BEFORE...but tbh... there is no comparison even with imam also... Hasssan is a blind slogger..
Well, you asked and I answered brother.SOMEBODY CHANGED THE TITLE ACTUALLY..IT WAS JUST INZAMAM BEFORE...but tbh... there is no comparison even with imam also... Hasssan is a blind slogger..
Better suited to 4 with Agha at 3, Nawaz can murder spin at this number in middle overs. Anyways good bench strength forming up for Pak team, gone are the days when people said we dont have replacements for certain playersNot a bad option at 6 in T20Is considering he is competing with Sammad, Niazi, Haider etc.
Needs to work a bit on his technique...he has the power but not proper technique and stance.Needs a better shot for the length ball.
Not a great look when he tries to muscle it down the track with an open stance
I think he’s much more comfortable against spin. After a long time, I’m seeing someone as comfortable hitting spin as he is, probably since S Malik. Better suited to middle order.Needs a better shot for the length ball.

A maiden half-century 64*(41) by Hassan Nawaz helped Quetta Gladiators claim victory against Islamabad United
Agree.Needs to work on his technique. The batting coaches need to iron out his flaws eg stance and technique.Needs to work a bit on his technique...he has the power but not proper technique and stance.
This is my top 7 for now;Better suited to 4 with Agha at 3, Nawaz can murder spin at this number in middle overs. Anyways good bench strength forming up for Pak team, gone are the days when people said we dont have replacements for certain players
Haider Ali has same issue. Their hitting technique against length and short pitch bowling needs major improvement.Needs a better shot for the length ball.

Agreed. This is happening with Pakistan young cricketers since last 15 years atleastAnother knock that is gonna get hyped to the moon and people will act crazy to select this tulla show again..
Given them unneccessary hype too early in their careers makes them complecantAgreed. This is happening with Pakistan young cricketers since last 15 years atleast
Tailender only against seam/swing otherwise he's comfortable against pace and bounce. He looks like a tailender at times and during other instances he is capable of playing calypso style strokes like that flick to win the game for his team. This is T20 cricket, not about looking pretty, it’s about being positive and getting the job done, it would be a mistake to reign him in now, just look at how Misbah psychologically abused Umar Akmal to the point you lost him altogether. So while he needs to address his shot selection / anticipation at times, especially putting the weight on the front foot against the shorter stuff, I admire the intent, he will get better with experience and proper backing iA

nahi bhai waoh to pakka fluke hi tha lolClearly the innings at Auckland was no fluke
Or 40 ball tons
Well, he’s definitely ahead of Babar and Rizwan to serve in the middle.Runs this guy has scored were scored in middle order. Is PC sane enough to try to keep him in middle order???
Our opening slot is already booked IMO.
Babar and rizwan are nowhere in the discussion... Move on Bruh.Well, he’s definitely ahead of Babar and Rizwan to serve in the middle.
Babariz are main obstacles b/w pak and modern cricket. They're blocking youngsters pathBabar and rizwan are nowhere in the discussion... Move on Bruh.
Better as 4 or 5 where he can target spinWatched all the above innings. Hassan still looks like a hack who needs a few years in domestic cricket then use him as a finisher.
I hope PCB won't waste the talent - just their traditional doingWatched all the above innings. Hassan still looks like a hack who needs a few years in domestic cricket then use him as a finisher.
A man of focus, commitment, and sheer will. Also Maa ki dua.Important question should be how a poor guy from lahya(only one prior known cricketer) develop power hitting better than many in country
I think he has shown great maturity better to give him an extended run in ODIs too beside T20Is. Could easily replace the likes of IftikharI was skeptical about Hasan even after his NZ century but his latest streak cannot be overlooked despite it being riddled with countless lucky breaks. Batting at 4 he has shown maturity, shepherding two tough run chases. What was impressive was how he took the game deep both times and did not just try to slog everything barring those few deliveries from Shahzad in the IU game. I think this is a good development for Pakistan given the intense competition for the opening slot.
Issue is that next ODI WC is in SA and Hassan like most of our batsmen is suspect against short ball. Khushdil has same issue.I think he has shown great maturity better to give him an extended run in ODIs too beside T20Is. Could easily replace the likes of Iftikhar
Share the Balls per six ratio too pleaseMost sixes in PSL X thus far;
1. Hasan Nawaz 23 in 8 inns - (2.87 per game)
2. Fakhar Zaman 21 in 10 inns - (2.10 per game)
3. Sahibzada Farhan 20 in 10 inns - (2.00 per game)
4. Yasir Khan 14 in 7 inns - (2.00 per game)
5. Muhammad Naeem 14 in 9 inns - (1.55 per game)

That’s always a good indicator of intent
Definitely. Lower middle order finishing and power hitting is our weakest area in LOIs.I think he has shown great maturity better to give him an extended run in ODIs too beside T20Is. Could easily replace the likes of Iftikhar
