It's an utter embarrassment.

Who is the current fielding coach? He needs to be fired, our fielding has been abysmal for a long time especially since Steve Rixon left.
What did Steve Rixon do so differently that subsequent coaches have failed to replicate?

So three dropped catches - 2 off Williamson!
The Hassan Ali missed catch - match could have been won had he taken it

shaheen is a decent fielder.Actually fielding has improved a lot, dropped cqtches happen even with top teams. Pakistan do have some passangers like Abbas.Shaheen Afrido used to bad fielder but has improved a lot.
Fantastic catch from Fawad to follow up the brilliant slip catching from Pakistan so far.

that was bad boy from Fawad.
Well done lad!
Have seen this numerous times where the Big 4 fielders have saved crucial match saving or match winning sixes on the boundary where they quickly realized that a catch is impossible therefore they end up making a very quick decision that instead of attempting the catch, they are going to palm the ball inside while jumping in the air ensuring that their foot doesn't touch the boundary rope or doesn't touch the ground etc. Even better they have palmed it back in the field of play to quickly enter back in the field of play to complete the catch themselves or to palm it to another fielder who completes the catch.
These fine points are the difference bw win and losing. Today Yasir Shahs lack of fitness, backwardness where he attempted a difficult catch and didn't try to palm the ball back to the field of play to save his side a crucial 4-5 runs cost his team the game.
Ramiz is tightening the screws when he saw that the PCB is spending Rs 2 billion on the domestic system and coaches and asked what is all this money being spent on if the domestic players have no idea or clue on how to play the ramp, scoop shot, reverse sweeps, reverse flicks and are not being taught anything on the modern T20 shots that you see from all the local Indian players in the IPL.
I believe this lack of boundary fielding and game awareness skill needs to be ruthlessly entrenched into the Pakistani domestic system, we are still producing cricketers who belong in the 80's and 90's
Sloppy again.
Not backing up at times, overthrows, lazy effort.

We need Julien Fountain back. That was the peak of our fielding in the last 20 years...
One of the issues is that they’re currently fielding with incredible nerves. It’s why everytime the ball comes to them, it bounces of them, it’s because they’re so tense. The social media reactions and the fan reaction doesn’t help.
Someone needs to tell them to chill the f*** out.
Ihsanullah is the one who caught my eye in the past 2 games of being absolutely dreadful.
You get this everywhere though with Pakistani culture, even here in the UK, you ask majority to do fielding and fitness in training, they'll make an excuse and walk away. Fair enough it is club cricket, but after every match, what does the team blame? "Dropped catches, misfields" so on and on.
It's laziness, and I am disappointed it still goes on at this level, for an international team.
King kar lega.Imam ul Haq via a program on local channel:
Imam: I think we'll be at 5th position in terms of fielding (in ODIs).
Host: Who is above us (top 4)?
Imam: Australia, England, South Africa, and India.
Host: Is Pakistan's fielding better than West Indies and New Zealand?
Imam: Absolutely, yes.
Pakistan is on Top and SA is on the bottom... signs of Qayamat! lolPakistan have the highest catching efficiency amongst all teams in the World Test Championship (2023-25)
