Practice Session ahead of Day 3

A few English journos reckon this match could be over today.

Fantastic atmoshphere at Lord's. Lovely weather, packed house, but very few Pakistani fans.

Watching live, you realise just how quick Hasan Ali is at times.

Whippy action and the ball is really carrying through to the keeper.

Buttler and Bess trying to be positive here rather than just accepting defeat.

English journos all very impressed with this Pakistan side, especially with their attitude.

Would have been good to have some away support as well but seems that not many Pak supporters showed up?

Just like the CT last year, Ramadan keeping the number of Pak supporters down.

Must be Ramadan factor. Pakistan fans ran the place when I went last time for the push ups match.

Ramadhan is a small factor, but lets be honest to ourselves Pakistan fans dont really go to test matches. I cant think of one test match in this country vs england where we will have even have 40 percent of the support.

I went to day 4 (so the final day as match was won this day) when we won at Lords in 2016. I saw very few England fans - majority of us were Pakistani. That was a great day. So I think even for tests we normally get more fans, Ramadan is the main reason for lack of Pakistan fans imo.

Watching Pakistan practice at close quarters today was interesting, especially the discipline brought into their preparations and practice. There was no messing around at all.

Another thing that was very interesting was Mickey Arthur before play on Day 4. He got the whole squad together and he was giving them a good hard lecture. Finger pointing, lots of hand waving and no holding back - he was telling them exactly what he wanted and the team needed. 26 minutes into play England were all out.
