As I usually say, he is still young and learning his craft, there will be ups and downs which wont change the fact that he is a pretty good talent. Pakistan in their national team need to mix some experience (24-30 year old pacers) and youth well so that transition for any young bowler is easy and workload management needs to improve too in my opinion. Should be able to find much more consistency in next couple of years.

Brilliant effort today, but overall he has been a huge disappointment for Hampshire.

Prior to today he had only taken 1 wicket in 6 matches.

Shaheen is so much better when he bowls his natural swing which is the outswing.

Great performance by him today.

Well done.

He is a seriously good talent and I was expecting better from him in the recently concluded test series.

Well put Shaheen and Naseem are two potential world class talents who need to be carefully managed we can have two superstar on our hands who can serve us for 10-12 years however it can misfire also and they may join the long list of unfulfilled potential States of the last 20 years.

Shaheen looks more complete bowler and looks more injury free

Some excellent pictures of Shaheen's handiwork!

The thing about world class talents is that despite going through a rough patch they will surprise you with a stunner out of no where. He was not doing good but suddenly killed it out of no where.

Barring the last match he was a huge flop.

One good performance in 7 matches was very poor and one wonders whether Hampshire will re-sign him.
