ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday warned of security threats persisting until the elections in Indian were over.

In an informal conversation with journalists, Prime Minister Khan said the government of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was capable of doing anything to win the elections. “The armed forces, government and people of Pakistan are ready for any challenge. A fitting response would be given to any aggressive move”.

“There are intelligence reports of the enemy’s terrorist activity increasing in Balochistan post-Pulwama,” the prime minister added.

According to Prime Minister along with India, the borders with Iran and Afghanistan were also being secured.

‘Will eliminate banned organizations’

The prime minister stressed that his government would eliminate banned organisations as he brought to attention the failure of the past government to implement the National Action Plan (NAP). He said there was a consensus among political parties on NAP, however, no action was taken.

“We are chasing them [banned organisations] now and will eliminate them.”

‘Good news for nation’

Prime Minister Imran Khan told journalists that the nation could hear some good news in the next three weeks. He said offshore drilling in the Arabian Sea was in its final stages and there was a possibility of a major discovery.

‘Indecisive bureaucrats’

The prime minister was critical of the indecisive of bureaucrats, which he said was causing difficulties for the government. “They [bureaucrats] believe the National Accountability Bureau does not have enough personnel to investigate large-scale inquiries.”

The prime minister said that the people will not be involved in the financial embezzlement if NAB is successful to put corrupt elements behind bars.

According to the prime minister, the small-time crooks being chased by the accountability bureau would fall in line if the powerful were served exemplary punishment.

The threat is always there. We have shown our capabilities of defending the country over the past few weeks. I am confident that even Modi is that not stupid to start a war with us.

The threat is always there and it would be worse once Modi is elected to power again..

Threat from Saffron terrorism has always been there, however Modi's electioneering of late has proved how Pakistan has tamed India. Put simply, Modi's tactics have backfired, hence Modi's jaddo ke jhapi tweet towards IK!

New Delhi seems to really confused how to deal with Pakistan , on one hand Modi sends good wishes to Imran khan on pakistan day and on they other hand they were barring people from joining pakistan day ceremony in Pakistan embassy in New delhi........ talk about hypocrisy...

Exclusive: India ready for another strike against Pakistan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday held meetings with National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and other dignitaries from the defence ministry, over its readiness to initiate war against Pakistan.

The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) discussed the future strategy on Pakistan, wherein Ajit Doval informed PM Modi that the three forces were ready for any action against the neighbouring country. He said they were only waiting for a political sanction.

To this end, PM Modi assured the forces -- Air, Navy and Army -- a free hand, while also asking them to ensure that no civilian died in Pakistan and that the targets were military-related.

The key takeaways from the meeting were:

1) The attacks will be target-specific

2) No non-military targets

3) Not only Pak-occupied Kashmir, the targets can also be inside Pakistan

4) The attacks will be pro-active, not reactive

Backfired and how. Their govt's feeble attempt to show the upperhand has spectarulary failed.

I would be even a bigger threat once the war monger is elected back to office ...

It*

Nah, once the elections are over things will go back to normal.

I am 100% sure that Indian army / intelligence think tank are tired of all this drama bazi show.

Sanity should restore, even in worst case scenario (like BJP winning everything, everywhere).
