Wasim Akram visiting Pak U19s in Melbourne caused some debate and people wondered if Wasim's presence meant anything to players.

Good explanation offered in below post which we have chosen as POTW, where he explains the importance of seeing someone bowl live etc vs seeing highlights - the U19 players were too young to watch Wasim at his best so they don't necessarily idolize him.

Congratulations BunnyRabbit for a thought provoking post.

you can't recreate the passion, excitement, anxiety or get to live the magic moments of present, there is no substitute to that. On clips and highlights, yeah sure you know what's going to happen next. But in live game, you don't know what's coming next, the sheer belief and unexpectability of the nature of the game is what it makes so brilliant. While watching CT final 2017 highlights, everyone knows Amir gets the top 3 wickets in his 6 overs, but did any of us know that was going to happen when it was happening live? Maybe you have some super powers that can see the future, but pretty sure 99.9% others don't.
