POV on Liberals-Leftists - Change from home and away

How many posters have negative views about Liberal Leftists in their country but a positive one for the ones in other countries and what is the reason for the same?

I vote Liberal in Canada even though I don't support liberals in Bangladesh.

I think definition of liberalism varies from country to country.

I think there are two types of liberals currently - common sense liberals and libturds.

But yeah libturds are pretty annoying don't be liberal for the sake of being liberal, it's an ideology it doesn't define you on everything

Liberalism doesn’t vary much from country to country, your pov does differ though.

Just like you would prefer conservatives to preserve the BD culture religious wise similarly conservatives in the country that you migrated to want the same..

Immigrants mostly support Liberals in their developed migrated homes..although I see a lot of Indian Hindus(esp the doctors and business community) moving away from Liberal politics in UK,USA.. working class still supports Liberal politics though.

Not in full support of any groups as they are very polarized these days.

I oppose the left on fiscal issues but also on this political correctness movement. It is getting out of hand, especially in liberal American states.

In Pakistan, it is my understanding the liberals are full of themselves as think they are better than others which is also very unattractive.

Yeah even one of Ronald Raegan’s chef was Pakistani American who migrated in the 50s..

Republicans were very pro Pakistan before, still few of em are, for Republican it’s all about Power,money,influence- democrats are less hypocrites in that area atleast.

Republicans are good towards pakistani state to this day but not the diaspora

They also believe in the fact that others have a right to an opinion as long as that opinion matches with their own.


Basically a desi liberal would be classified as a jahil gamaar in any western country.

I m from south india & I really don't like modi or BJP but in 2019 elections I had to vote for BJP why ?

Bcoz liberals & seculars in india do hindu bashing, make fun of hinduism, do too much minority appeasement & any wrong minorities do they will simply brush under the carpet.

Left parties in the name of minority appeasement give hard time to hindus in india.

I am a proud hindu and with liberals in power I feel my religion will be in trouble so hence with extreme dislike I had to vote for BJP

Can you give some examples of liberals? We pretend to be in a war between communalism and liberalism, while all we have is a fight between communalism and communalism, while true liberalism dies a silent death in the corner.

I think the term liberalism is just coined by west and people join the bandwagon without thinking what it really means.

There has to be a balance in everything, going too far on any ideology will have serious repurcussions.
All this right wing, liberal, communism etc are just terms. For an ideal society there should be balance of everything.

Same Here. The left supports the minority fundamentalist (some influential Groups weich controls masses ) and never allows them to become Mainstream .they force the moderate Hindus towards bjp
