Which two teams are likely to be the finalists according to you?
For me, it will be Pakistan and India.
 
Strange choice from me, I'm going with England v South Africa.
 
India and Pakistan on 19th

Not really. New Zealand is actually stronger then their 2019 wc squad.

Williamson seems fine, and Conway, Darly Mitchell, Glenn Philips, Mark Chapman, all these guys are killer batsmen.

Their bowling is 🔥 as well, only weakness is ish sodhi tbh. Otherwise their a killer unit. Their weaker then India and England on paper but their wc mindset is far far superior then India.

They've had their time 2015 and 2019. No one makes 3 finals in a row unless an ATG side like WI or Australia.

Their batting is good but the bowling will be exposed vs India, Australia and England. SL and Bangladesh can beat them too.

We'll have to wait and see broskie. But if NZ gets to the final, am I allowed to quote this post and say I told you so? Or should I humbly move on 👨🏻‍🦯.
 
India v England or India v Australia

I would be shocked if the final doesn't feature any of the two sides listed above.

Australia should be there in the final. They should be a lock. They will get Travis Head back at some point and they can dominate sides after that.

India, it depends. If we continue to play cowardly, defensive cricket by playing a defensive bowler at 7 who cant bat either, we have already lost and it should be England , then.

I would be shocked if 2 out of these 3 teams don't make the final.

Anybody else making the final would be a shock
 
I've gone for India and England.

The reasons being - strength in depth, home advantage for India, versatility in both squads, many match-winners, explosive batting options and wicket-taking bowling options.
 
The most likely final would be between India and England but Pakistan and Australia can also go all the way in the tournament.

I love your positivity. Doubt it'll happen though.

After seeing the warmups I think India and NZ are the strongest teams.

England batsmen don't seem accustom to conditions atm, and Australia seems slightly weaker this time around but still a killer team.

I just hope fakhar comes good. Pakistan are shooting themselves in the foot if we open if imam and Abdullah followed by babar and rizzu, that's a solid 1970 era batting top order right their.

Yeah that was some patrotic me who placed Pakistan in Finals :ROFLMAO:

But yeah that is for sure India is going to play the final of this world cup.

If Pakistan wants to do well so i think Fakhar's form is the key because he is the only one who can play with some good strike rate.

Based of the warmups I'm advocating India and NZ.

New Zealand is flying under the radar like they always do, which is strange, a batting lineup of Conway, Mitchell, Williamson, Mark champman, Glenn Philips is world class. They have one heck of a bowling line up as well. They just have weak spinners. Also they seem to love Indian conditions in general.

Based of how England were playing the side seems to struggle against Indian conditions and the team is probably realising bazzball approach won't work in these conditions lol.

Australia seems Killer with stark though, Stark once again proving why he's always the best tournament bowler.

But New Zealand ironically seems to be the most balanced side this entire cup.

Don't know why their flying under the radar. Their 2019 team has a horrific batting lineup and they still made it through to the finals, this time around their current team is 100x stronger them then one in 2019, and other teams are slightly weaker this time around ( except India, India's cirrent 2023 team is > 2019)

This is why in forwarding India and NZ. England current team is weaker then their 2019 counterparts, Same case for Australia and Pakistan.

Sa 2023 is > 2019 however.
 
How new zealand started their campaign, they convinced me to change my prediction.

so now my 2 finalist are India vs New Zealnd

Wait for another u turn later in the tourrnament. :ROFLMAO:
 
I change my mind about my semi finalists. Remove England, add Australia.

SA, Ind, NZ and Australia semi finalists.

NZ and India final
 
Its tough to say , Only India and NZ look confirmed semi finalist , rest two will be tough to chose right now.

I’d love for it to be that and Pak to win final. But atm I don’t know how anyone beats this team India. Tbf if anyone might it could be Pakistan due to emotion involved in the match, and final and all. We’d have to put up a real show with the bat to stand a chance.
 
To be decided v Australia

Uptill now both SA and India have played brilliantly. India also have home advantage. But both SA and India have also been helped by desicions during tosses.

They are favourites both of them, but India are due a bad game and SA batting second in a preassure game, I am not sure.
 
The way Pakistan and Australia have won their last games, it could very well be these two teams playing in the FINAL.

Now that you've seen all the teams play in the group stages, which of the four semi-finalists do you think will go all the way and win the World Cup?
 
Personally, I want the final to be between South Africa and New Zealand because I want a new champion in cricket world
 
India will beat New Zealand even if they’re playing at 60% of their level.

South Africa are a better team on paper in comparison to Australia. But I think the Aussies have the know how when it comes to winning these semi-final contests.

India v Australia would be a wonderful final for the neutral.

If it’s India v South Africa final, I reckon it’ll be as one sided as the 1999 World Cup final.
 
Going purely by form and team compositions, i am predicting a Bharat bs Australia final in which anything happens.

NZ beating Bharat in 2023 semi final will be considered a shock by all accounts they have been terrible against top teams in this World Cup and it would be a shame if they reached the final.
 
Iam seeing new team becoming champion this time india will have a bad day
it will be either in semis or finals
 
Difficult to predict; knockout matches are altogether different games. Can't write off any team playing in semifinals.
 
Don't write off NZ so easily.

They are a great side who can turn over India if they play at their best.
 
We already have one finalist team that is India, the other team for me would be South Africa and if they bat first in the Final, they have a very good chance to beating India in the Final.
