It has been one of those series where he has been a lone warrior for India. For me, he is the ICC cricketer of the year 2024.

Brooks is close too but Bumrah has done it across varied conditions or formats, i.e. single handedly in WT20, a home series vs England, a test in South Africa early this year and this test series in Australia where he has carried the team on his own.
