We know how close these games can be but we also know Pakistan have a habit of gifting wins when we least suspect it.

So with all those factors in your mind.....

Who will win the 2nd Test? (and why!)

Pakistan's confidence has been dented and England have all the momentum. I expect Pakistan are now psychologically convinced that they can't beat England. So England will take the series 3-0.

We will loose this match without any fight. It will be a low scoring match. Misbah will lament of match practice and lack of senior players in the team for the loss.

I would've said Pakistan had Pakistan won the first Test.

But, England have the momentum now and hence I think they may win again.

They will again " give a good fight against a better team" and will be satisfy with that. Under Misbah team's mind set is not to win, but a give good fight.

England, root and co will attack pakistan and specially azer alis negative mindset seeing how they crumbled under pressure at old Trafford from a winning position.

Think if batsmen can improve then we have a good chance. They did show good intent in the game - just execution was poor.

I am being optimistic, I think we can win. We dominated most of the first game, so we have the quality, just all about mentality. Toss is important again, though.

Well stokes isnt playing thats a batter and a bowler short...if that wont give you confidence nothing will

I feel this match would be low scoring and rain-interrupted so we will get a result. England would be favorites to win any close encounters. (but I am hoping Pakistan wins this one :p)

I fear it’s going to be spoiled by the weather — thunderstorms and rain predicted most days. A real shame as we’re going through a heatwave at the moment.

Have we ever won or drawn a test series after losing the first test?

Vs WI away in 2011 we lost the first test but won the second to make it 1-1. That's the only example I can think of at the moment where we lost the first test and drew the series

Was interested so started looking into it.

The last time Pakistan lost the first test of a series and came back to WIN the series was in.....

1994 vs. Zimbabwe

Going to try to find drawn series too but it's not looking good.

it will again be a close match with entertaining cricket. A galaxy of talent will be on display.
My prediction is Pakistan will win this one.

You can never write Pakistan off.

But their confidence will be dented and they are psychologically vulnerable to England counterattacks.

Boys will bounce back. I'm not worried about the confidence being dented. Losing a match like this is still better than what they do in Australia and SA.

Many times Pakistan has turned up as crack addicts and in the next match, they're back to being "Shaheens".

126/5 so far for Pakistan in tough batting conditions. Babar and Rizwan need to dig in or this could be another loss.

Pakistan need to bowl out England today, only real chance of winning this game

This series will either end as 2-1 England, 2-0 England or 1-1 draw. Pakistan under Azhar Ali's captaincy do not have the ability to win two tests on the trot.

I am actually hoping this test gets rained out, because if Pakistan do win, then they will almost certainly lose the third test.

Seems we will get play today - so any more predictions?

It will be a drawn test match. There are forecast of rain today and tomorrow, so not enough time to enforce a result.

They managed an hour of play, with England on 7/1 in reply to Pakistan's 236, but they're off again due to rain. Surely draw is the only possible outcome?

Shame it will be a draw.
Pakistan were very well placed witj runs on that minefield.
