India will either win one match or draw but looks like they will loose 2 matches. But it's cricket anything can happen.
 
Considering the financial status of Cricket SA, I think they will dish out neutral pitches at the least if not batting paradises. Longer the match, better the revenues for CSA.
 
No practice matches and directly playing their 1st Test in about a week’s time means utter failure.

Toss will play a crucial role. If it is a green track, India must win the toss as the pitch will flatten up nicely after Day-1.

2-1 to SA is my prediction.

Tough place to tour is South Africa. Rabada will be tough to face, Steyn Back also.

I reckon 2-0 to South Africa.
 
2-1 South Africa. This is India's best chance of winning a series in South Africa.
 
I feel South Africa will win this series . I feel this will be a well fought series between two competitive teams but at the end of the day SA will emerge successful because of their superior bowling attack and experience in home conditions . I feel scoreline will be 2 - 1 in favour of South Africa . I will be extremely happy if India draw or win this series although this looks extremely tough .
 
3-0 or 2-0 SA. India will do well to draw a game but will have collapsed in other two matches.

Hoping for an Indian win but very unlikely with no preparation or tour games, Indian defeat is certain.

Then watch the Indians blaming everything else but themselves like they always do Indians are the best at finding excuses for everything or blameing racism.
 
Its either 2-0 or 3-0 unless SA dish out Flattest Roads, Though its cricket and nothing is certain, but will love to be proven wrong.

I find it very amusing that some people call indian batsmen HTB..nobody wins away from home now a days..some
 
Depends upon the pitches if Ind get Green tops they will crumble otherwise it will be a competitive series
 
3-0 RSA, India might eek something out at the Wanderers but that's about all I will expect from them. Kohli will do well but not his tour of Australia-esque well.
 
South Africa to win 2-0 although India will be competitive.

considering our bowling fails on neutral pitches while succeds on green pitches, that would be advanced south Africa
 
India is high on confidence with all their batsman averaging well above their counterparts from other countries. If anything I predict India to be highly competitive and even stand a chance of winning the series. I predict a drawn series with India playing the first two tests better than SAF and SAF saving blushes by winning the last match.
 
The Indians may be #1 side, but they are not playing SL !!! They have good deal of confidence, but it can melt away in a session or two ..... remains to be seen. I won’t be surprised if either Team gives the other side a run for their money !!!!
 
it will be either 3-0 south Africa or a series including lots of runs scored and result can go either way.Expecting 1 or 2 of them be draw in that case.
 
Best case scenario, 2-1 to RSA

I don't have much hope from this team.
 
If SA bowlers are in form, it's going to be 3-0 SA.

If Steyn is at his best and the pitches are good, it's going to get ugly for India.

Anyways it’s going to be a cracker of a series. I predict 2-1 to SA in the end. That being said if India ever had chance to win a series, its this time around

This should be a good series. Our bowlers are fitter, faster and more mature this time. SA are definitely better on paper but in helpful conditions, it generally takes one extraordinary inning or getting the opposition for a sub-100 total once in the match. Both are possible. I am more optimistic because of our performance in Dharamshala'17 and Kolkata'16 tbh, this fast bowling group knows how to be patient.
 
3-0 will not happen. It will be either 2-0 or 2-1 to SA.
 
pretty one-sided predictions so India have nothing to lose! Beware SA!
