Air Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria took over as the Chief of Air Staff on Monday after Air Marshal ** Dhanoa retired from the post. Succeeding ** Dhanoa, who led the IAF during the Balakot airstrikes, RKS Bhadauria said the force is prepared for any such challenges in the future.

Speaking to reporters after taking over as the IAF chief, Air Chief Marshal Bhadauria said, "We were prepared then, we will be prepared next time. We will be ready to face any challenge, any threat."

Asked about the recent reports of Pakistan reactivating the Jaish-e-Mohammed terror camps that were destroyed in the Balakot airstrikes in February, IAF chief said, "We are aware of the reports and we will take necessary action as and when required."

Talking to news agency ANI, Bhadauria said the induction of Rafale fighter jets will be a game-changer for the Air Force.

He said, "My first priority is the modernisation and indigenous capability in view of all budget constraints. Rafale will be a game-changer in our operational capability. It will give India an edge over Pakistan and China."

Speaking on Pakistan PM Imran Khan's warning of a nuclear war, Bhadauria said, "That is their understanding of nuclear aspects. We have our own understanding, our own analysis. We will be ready to face any challenge."

Air Marshal Bhadauria, an alumnus of National Defence Academy, was commissioned in the fighter stream of IAF in June 1980. He has, over 39 years of service, held various command, staff and instructional appointments.

On Monday, he succeeded departing Air Chief Marshal ** Dhanoa as the Chief of Air Staff.

If we have to go across LoC, we will: Army Chief General Bipin Rawat warns Pakistan

Issuing a stern warning to Pakistan, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Sunday said that the Line of Control between India and Pakistan is sacrosanct but Indian forces will not hesitate in crossing the LoC if Islamabad keeps on trying to create disturbances in India.

Talking to an English daily, the Army Chief stressed that the 2016 surgical strikes and the Balakot airstrikes in 2019 sent a clear message to Pakistan that India is not interested in playing a 'hide and seek' game anymore and the Indian Army is willing to cross the LoC to eliminate terrorists and their supporters.

Commenting on Pakistan's latest call for jihad over Kashmir, General Rawat said that it shows that terror infrastructure is existing in Pakistan and they are looking for opportunities to push terrorists inside India. "Ït is a tacit acceptance of their support to terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir" noted the Army chief.

General Rawat expressed surprise over Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan's 'threat' regarding nuclear war between India and Pakistan in his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on Friday (September 27) and said that the Pakistani prime minister must understand that nuclear weapons are meant for deterrence and they are not used in conventional war. Taking a jibe at Imran Khan, General Rawat said that Khan's statements highlight his inappropriate understanding of nuclear weapons. It may be recalled that in his UNGA speech, Khan had issued threats of a nuclear war over Kashmir and said that terror attacks would take place in India and his country will be blamed for these attacks.

On Monday (September 23), General Rawat had said that terror camp in Balakot, which was attacked by the Indian Air Force in February to avenge the terror attack on CRPF personnel in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, has been reactivated. According to General Rawat, the fact that the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) camp in Balakot has been reactivated suggests that it was destroyed earlier.

Speaking at the Young Leaders Training Wing programme in Chennai, the Army chief said that India would not repeat the actions carried out in the past. “We did surgical strikes and airstrikes, now let’s keep the enemy guessing,” he said.

General Rawat further said that as many as 500 terrorists were waiting across the border to infiltrate into the Indian territory. He said that soon after the temperature starts falling, the terrorists would be pushed into the Indian territory through areas which have less snow.

come on and this time will not be getting back your jet pilot for free Syed1 let them come so that we can enjoy ,it has been dull going for a while.

Has India created a technology where in cloudy conditions their jets aren't detected?

The heights of shamelessness :)) Why would India want more Balakot strikes after what happened the first time around? How do average Indians put up with this stuff?

If Avg Indians are similar to Joshila then I am sure they get excited.

Are they professionals or jokers? There is a famous saying "Jo garajte hain wo baraste nahi" this line fits these morons. Learn from top leadership of armed forces of Pakistan. They only talk when matters.

Most of them still believe IAF jets hit buildings, a madrassah killing many of their enemies. Of course satellite photos were shown but Indias strated to look for holes in the buildings because in their world IAF were firing peas not missiles.

No people are brainwashed as Indians.

Heck their military attache, or whoever that nerdy guy with broken english was, he came on national television and said point blank "all our pilots are accounted for" and all Indians lapped it up. Sadly for them we showed the battered and bloodied face of Abhinandan. :yk

The two bit Bollywood actress was cheering the IAF for popping over the border for tea and biscuits.
cricketjoshila what is the official account of these strikes? Or more importantly what type of biscuits were served with the tea for your pilot? Rio or Sooper? :afridi

Zara ao to sahi khusboo laga kar.

We are waiting.

Let us boil the water for tea :)

Thanks for letting us know, always nice to have visitors. We'll put the kettle on.

Due to being utterly humiliated back in February, they've got their knickers in a twist and are just mouthing off randomly. You got to feel sorry for this lot.

On a serious note, is Balakot strike a role model for Indians?

For those that went to put on blindfolds, yes it is. But they need to put on blindfolds when it comes to satellite imagery showing how successful their airstrikes were.

Dearly request ISPR to help the Pakistani movie industry to make a fact based movie on Pakistan’s version of accounts.

Really will be a celebrated movie like Border

No idea why India are after our trees 😠

Long live Pakistani trees 🌲

Pakistani trees... Zindabad

They are scared of our billion tree tsunami project, soon our trees will outnumber their population.

A poor and needless statement that serves no purpose.

It is well-established fact that the U.S., China and Russia are the only three countries that can thump India in a conventional warfare, because they have the technology and they manpower. Other countries like Japan, Israel, France etc. have the technology but not the manpower, and countries like Pakistan have the manpower but clearly inferior technology to India. That is why Pakistan has never and will never best India in a conventional war.

And that is why Pakistan will not go on a 1965 or 1999 style misadventure. However, Pakistan can dominate India in skirmishes because our strength is PAF and their weakness is IAF.

The best ploy for India at the moment is to let Pakistan talk because that is the only tactic our leadership can use at this point. Imran Khan knows that he has no control on Pakistan’s foreign policy, and the institution that shapes Pakistan’s foreign policy knows that it cannot do anything to reverse Article 370.

We will never make the first move and are hoping that India will repeat their mistake that they made back in February. Pakistan wants an instigation and India should not give them the opening. Let the frustration build inside us and and let Imran Khan continue to talk about the fake humanity drama until it runs it course, the world moves on and he scurries for an exit strategy.

Modi is a great leader and in spite of having the upper hand on Pakistan, both in terms of their narrative on Kashmir and the respective positions of India and Pakistan in the world, he is simply not very good when it comes to the war of words and trash-talking. India’s reply to Imran Khan’s emotional rant was very good, but they can do a lot more on this front and ensure that Pakistan’s narrative continues to have zero credibility.
