They didn't complete the run before the catch though.
Even newbs know that a run isn't counted unless they complete it. Don't know what the confusion is.
what? so scores don't count on no balls?
The run wasn't completed before the catch was taken off the no-ball.
Sohail Akhtar was ball-watching.
so singles, fours sixes are not counted on no balls?
Poor running by Fakhar, like an 80 year old.
WTH?
Lahore won this. 2 runs was needed off 1 ball. It was a no-ball meaning no other outs will be counted except for run out. So Lahore could've took as many as they want in the last ball of free hit. Until a batsmen isn't run out.
If it was a second last or any other ball. The fielder would've run out it then and then the runs was too given.
Where is rana Fawad?
Where is rana Fawad?
Probably being attended to by medics.
He completed the runSohail was run out on the free hit.
Lahore are world champs at finding ways to lose a game.
He completed the run
Honestly speaking I didn’t know about this rule. This ‘run wasn’t completed when the catch was taken’ rule. I’m sure I’ve seen instances where the umpire called a no ball, the catch was taken and the run was given. I never saw anyone checking the completion of the run.

Why?
LQ wasting the super over. Who will KK send and who will bowl for LQ?
Lol, that was probably the best they could get against Amir.
True, he is the best defensive bowler available.
Yeah, along with with Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar.
