PSL 2018 Match 6: Bowlers, Hussain Talat help Islamabad United to first win against Multan Sultans

At this age, the way Irfan is bowling, if he was found 10 years earlier, he could have ended career with a similar reputation like Garner in ODI/T20.

Sohaib Maqsood doing blunders in the field as well

We might see Shan instead of Maqsood in the next match

I feel for Talat, dont think many international sides will have bowling attack like MS.
Irfan, Junaid, Tahir, Tanvir

There's your Asif Ali. Wasted time and put pressure on his partners..

I am not saying he is next ponting. I know he can hit the ball, generally he bats 4 down however, due to his 100 in practice match at one down position he is shifted in the top 4.

United needs to utilize Faheem and Shadab better, both should bat higher up

I love these Aussie commies.... so excitable, much better than monotone and boring Bazid Khans

Hasan123 - I told you, IU will suffer from inexperience. This squad is polarized between Grandpa & Grandson, daddies are missing.

Misbah will join in the next match I guess

Lol you guys remember how certain "experts" were predicting Multan will be the first side to go home.... here they are comfortably sitting on top and making a match out of a nothing score.

Talat can make a huge name for himself if he guides his side home.

That dive from Irfan just took years of what is left of his career :))

50 of 9 with 5 down - a 5th bowler would have won it for Multan, still can. They should have dropped Bravo for Viljoen today's moist condition.

Very tricky wicket for the bats out there, lets see if they can take their team this duo

Free hit wasted. Btw is a run out counted off a free hit like a no ball?

One more Grandpa, I am talking about daddy - batsmen at their prime, 2-3 years either side of 29. Not sure if Misbah adds value or not, because this year I see bounce in PSL wickets.

Hussain Talat is a huge talent. He will come good.

they both are beast in pak domestic i guess.
no wonder looking at the quality of their batsmen

I saw the recent T20 tournament live and he was batting really well against the best bowlers who are playing here too. Some people just can't handle the pressure of internationally broadcasted cricket I guess.

Imran Tahir reminds me of those uncles who would come and disrupt gully cricket matches and then be over enthusiastic in their batting, bowling, fielding and take too much joy from smacking kids around :))

Exactly. :)) We had one such uncle and whenever he came we used to pretend to start taping the ball.

ofcourse.
or else they can keep running till they acheive their target :p.
jk .
btw can anyone tell me how many runs can batsmen run in a ball?
is their any limit?
or infinite? if it is then whats the record for most run batsmen scored by running on a single ball?

Like I said MS look 15-20 runs short here if IU don't make a mess of it.

No idea. Maybe its a question for the http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/showthread.php?269136-Your-misconceptions-about-cricket thread where our resident experts can answer.

However common sense dictates one can't run more than 4 runs given the sizes of the ground anyway.

Low scoring matches are love.... just so much excitement on every ball

The most entertaining feature of the PSL: Muhammad Irfan chasing after a ball trying to save a boundary.

i guess yea i wonder thats the case with most pak batsmen being a mental midget like akmal shehzad & maqsood to name a few.
but not in the case of bowlers they seems to do pretty well and seems quite confident.

Yeah because their margin of error is higher. They can bowl a few bad balls but one bad shot can get a batsman out.

i think dhoni is an expert in these type of chases.he will take it close and finish with a big shot

SarfiBabarHaris was right when he said Talat reminds him of Kohli

Wow wow wow... Talat smashing it about... and whats better he is hitting Sohail Tanvir
