He was MoS & Wisden Cricketer of the year in 2010, when Poms were No. 1 side in World and won 7-1 against PAK & India in that period, won an Ashes in AUS as well. But yes, not a good T20 player, because he plays too much on top hand - that SIX over long-off on this track against a slow bowler probably only Tamim can hit.

He is not, but we can agree to disagree. Tamim is not a batsman who'll loose his shape and try to slog it with bottom hand - ball wasn't coming on to bat. That SIX actually tells how good a timer he is - that was hit against an offie bowling round the wicket over long-off with top-hand flick.

The wicket also doesn't suit him - he is a touch player .... I actually wrote that Tamim is struggling to time it on this track, before even Hafeez started to bat. These are similar tracks where SRL reserves got PAK 0-3 at home and some unknown leggi won MoS. Unless the dew flattens the wicket, Babar will also struggle here. It's not a wicket for top hand players - trust me Iftekhar & Sohail Akhter might out do here any batsmen.

Please don’t blame the wicket for hafeez and his ineptness to perform in pressure situations. There is a reason why he has a average of 20 after 5 t20 World Cups and with only 1 50 and a SR of 106! We saw that reason today , he is a bottler!

I am actually not in the mood of arguing - Tamim averages 39 as opener and averages better actually away from home .... Hafeez average below 20 outside Asia. If you think Imran Frhat is better than Tamim as LO player, I can only feel sorry for you - there is a reason Pakistan is sinking fast, and not only in cricket.
