Wow.

This panel has to be the most pathetic panel.

The better captain of the psl was rizwan. Shadab was garbage and only fluked a win cause Imad performed in the 4 games. Take imad out and shadab would never had won.

One important thing about psl captaincy is utilizing your youth player, where shadab failed. While Rizwan had Yasir Khan batting and performing aswell.

Bring in Shaheen and another local pacer in place of Willey and and Jordan and there you have the Pakistan's in form T20 team.

How could you be the best captain and lose to Islamabad United twice in the space of 1 week, losing the title in the process?

Multan should have got the job done at Pindi and knocked out Islamabad. They didn’t. They could have had an easier final against Peshawar Zalmi, that wasn’t to be because Islamabad had peaked at the right time with one of their key players finding vital form with the bat and ball.

No one cares about how many hugs and kisses you have dished out as a captain to console your players, what matters is the performance which gets the job done. Shadab channelled that performance by him and his players to get that job done…4 games in a row and beating Multan twice when it mattered.

THe game in pindi was a dead rubber. Multan did not play its best

The selection of CJ and willey are questionable to say the least.

Muhammad Ali and Shaheen were more deserving with their impacts for their respective teams.

I think they picked the playing XI first and then named a captain. Rizwan's personal performance wasn't up there but captaincy wise it is obvious even to a lay person that he was head & shoulders above the rest.

Sometimes process kills logic

Yeah if they played their best cricket they would have scored 300 instead of 220

Multan game was a dead rubber game and only Multan tried their bench there

3 foreign players requirement.

They were the best foreign players.

How come the best wicketkeeper of the tournament is not selected for the team of the tournament? Maybe he is not deserving of that award at all?

Usama Mir is in the list rightfully but unfortunately he can never feature in one such ICC team because you know its international cricket.
