Some of PTI's biggest achievements in KP are planting a billion trees that have turned KP into Amazon rainforest, building over 350 dams and producing thousands of MW of electricity, building numerous hospitals and schools, and constructing a top class metro bus at a much cheaper cost than PML-N.

Moreover, they have also converted the CM House into a public library as promised before the 2013 election.

However, one underrated initiative of PTI that hasn't made the headlines is the "Beat the Heat Tsunami" - an initiative to create free swimming pools for the public of KP. The poor public cannot afford expensive club memberships, so this is a wonderful initiative for the common folk, and something other provinces should take note of.

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Thank you dear PTI and especially Pervez Khattak for making large public swimming pools for the people of Peshawar during your time in government <a href="https://t.co/kVu3eW9AeV">pic.twitter.com/kVu3eW9AeV</a></p>— omar r quraishi (@omar_quraishi) <a href="https://twitter.com/omar_quraishi/status/1019659877885636610?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">July 18, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

The number of free swimming pools are nowhere near as great as the number of trees planted, but they are still in very big number throughout the province. However, the biggest concentration is in Peshawar, the capital of the province, where you can find at least a hundred such swimming pools.

Thank you Imran Khan; thank you PTI.

I am only highlighting their achievements.

They promised to build over 350 dams, hospitals and schools. Thy also promised to generate thousands of MW of electricity and promised to convert the CM House into a library.

They also built a metro as promised. However, the Beat the Heat Tsunami was not part of their manifesto - it is a bonus for the people of KP, especially the citizens of Peshawar.

A parting gift to celebrate their hugely successful tenure in which they managed to fulfill their promises and made KPK a model province and Peshawar a model city.

The most serious failing of PTI has been their inability to enact reform of the education reform and combat religious extremism. By cozying up with JI, allowing funding for Samiul Haq's madrassah and not taking a tough enough line on fanaticism, PTI certainly lost my support and alienated many others that I know.

So OP is going to make one sad and desperate thread per day till 25th July now? :))

Absolutely, they have undone all the hard work that ANP did on this front.

IK has scared alot of the corrupt. The gravy train for the corrupt could be coming to an end. Did we get any evidence about PK and his hospital.

well expected after the Khattak in Pindi embarrassment :)

I rather have PTI alienate those who do not understand Pakistan and want quick and short fix for Pakistan's problem.

Alienating thousands and thousands in madrassah would be more dangerous for Pakistan than alienating small minority who think like you.

OP is seriously desperate but one should appreciate his determination and Jihad against PTI even after being exposed bad many times.

IT is BRT under construction dear.Otherwise they have worked really really well in Peshawar for sewage etc,I can swear on that,But please don,t make a fool of yourself and wait till 25th July.Chillllllllll,,,,,,,,......

What ANP done??I mean Education reforms..Though i Agree with Loralai regarding PTI weak stance but the reason was being not in clear majority. But i have not seen any major reforms from ANP.

I agreed JI alliance made them very weak but the poster is supporting PMLN who have done great work in that issues:yk2:yk2.

The BRT project has been a disaster. It was supposed to be completed by April, but it still at least 2 years away from completion.

A total flop project, and they have tried to blame PML-N but it has backfired badly.

This BRT project should have been initiated within the first year of their tenure, but they didn’t plan properly and they panicked at the end of their tenure.

They criticize Shehbaz for making merits and roads, but they don’t have the capacity to complete a single infrastructure project in five years.

The budget of the BRT bus has also increased twice. Who is responsible for the sunk costs, and who will be held accountable?

ANP removed the MMA inspired extremist elements from the textbooks. However, PTI brought them back to please the right-wing.

OP has gone into overdrive against PTI it seems.

PTI has flaws and they are trying to fix them, no one said they are the perfect party. I don't understand why you can't seem to understand that N league has ruled over the country for a considerable amount of time and what exactly have they done? Even in Punjab, me spending time in Lahore, I think their development projects are overrated.

The fact that people in Lahore say "oh Shahbaz Shariff na filter plants lagai hei.." irks the crap out of me, people don't understand that clean water should be available at your house... and not going to a water filtration plant to fill up buckets!

Despite dismal lack of progress in Pakistan over last 30 years in health, education, police, law&order, production, exports while India, Bangladesh even Vietnam Lanka, have all progressed, I feel shocked how the liberal elite try to convince us that somehow PTI and Imran Khan will "F" it up if he comes to power!
