In the 17th match of PSL 2025, Quetta Gladiators will face Peshawar Zalmi. Neither team has performed at their best so far, as they sit at fourth and fifth positions on the points table, respectively.

Peshawar Zalmi have managed just two wins from five matches, while Quetta Gladiators have achieved the same result in their four matches. Both teams must elevate their performance, as a loss in this match could jeopardize their chances of progressing further in the tournament.

So Luke Wood can’t play because Nahid Rana was PZ’s original pick, and now he’s back?

What’s Amir worried about in the powerplay? Babar hits me for a 4 and plays a couple of dots and then takes an easy single?

Babar has more star power than Amir , its a fact
Am not denying he does. Babar has more star power then most cricketers from Australia as well.

That doesn't mean he's better then they are. It just means he has a 220M population backing. Unfortunately that 220M population happens to be one of the weakest countries in the world.

Why couldnt allen rossow mendis chapman perform vs kk, tim siefert did well. Was bowling from hassan ali and co that much good

The team with biggest fan base in PSL , Peshawar Zalmi a sea of Yellow if only game was played in Peshawar they would make a Tifo also

Amir Sohail absolutely astounded that Allen hit the pace bowler back over his head for 6 in the second over.

"How did he manage THAT?" 😦

It's called power hitting Amir. The rest of the cricket world has been doing if for 15 years.

Gayle hit first ball of a Test Match for straight six :sneaky:

That guy is a clown and has zero clue about the modern game

Luke Wood was brought into Peshawar Zalmi’s squad as a replacement for Nahid Rana. However, with Nahid Rana now having joined the squad, questions arise over how Luke Wood is still eligible to play in the XI. Although Peshawar Zalmi did not list Nahid Rana in their official 20-player team sheet, he was still spotted warming up with the team.

Sufyan better hide. You don't anger Alzarri Joseph lol.

One midfield going for four is bad enough, then a missed catch next ball too

Allen has mostly struggled like Seifert.

Send them back to NZ and they'll be near unstoppable.

Decent knock today though from Allen

Looking at the way we bat, I think he's pretty representative of Pakistan cricketers to be honest.
Not the newer breed

Saim, M. Haris, Farhan etc don't think like that

Farhan kept on going after the ball and after the game said "this is the modern game, you have to keep going at the ball"

M. Haris also said after 2 wkts went down early "you have to keep attacking, otherwise you'll get stuck"

Embarrassment level fielding from Sufiyan. Misfield and had a catchable ball that he gave up on.

Shameful as a specialist spinner to have this horrible level fielding at such a young age. Doesn't bring any value with his batting either.

Sufiyan is also 💩 in the field

This is my real issue with Pak players. They are hell bent on being absolutely mediocre one-dimensional cricketers. There's zero excuse for a professional cricketer to be a bad fielder but they continue to be that in this day & age. If you only have one skill & that too just hit & miss, you are not doing your job. If & when these cricketers are dropped, they become the greatest victims & never stop crying.

Rossouw is much better suited to No.5 where he can come in and blast the pacers in the last few overs. Chapman or Mendis should be batting at 3.

Sohaib Maqsood said on his vlog that Russow is very moody about batting at 3. If he bats below it, he is very reckless because of being angry

Nadeem Omar is another soft PSL franchise owner who needs to be replaced. The guy is too emotional and soft where he lets his emotional relationship with the players let the players walk over him. Which modern professionally run franchise will select Saud Shakeel in T20 Cricket, Shakeel doesn't even deserve to play ODI Cricket. Does Pakistani Cricket have to be charity for every undeserving player.

We need hungry tough psl franchise owners like we see in the IPL who are not hesitant to take ruthless decisions in the best interest of their team.

Lol that's funny. But he should be batting down because his record against spin is quite poor since last season. The team stands to benefit more.
