This is what I love about Islamabad. They have a template of playing T20 which is to go after the attack irrespective of wickets lost. This gung ho approach doesn't work everyday and you're going to have days when you'll be 80 all out. But you still have to trust the template and more often than out it'll work out.

This is exactly the same approach England adopted to win the odi 2019 world cup. Along the way they did falter occasionally by getting bowled out very cheaply, losing to Scotland as well but they still kept with their approach.

Faheem and Dawson were at the crease in the 12th over and they didn't hold back. That's the template to go about.

If he ran he would’ve been out anyways.

It’s the basics of cricket, we’re taught this at junior level cricket. Non striker calls when ball goes behind the on strike batsman and the on strike batsman calls when ball goes behind non striker. Hales should’ve been watching Asif Ali, not running blindly. You can’t blame Asif Ali for that, he knows where the ball was so he made the call. Hales didn’t know where the ball was so he shouldn’t have ran. The ball could’ve been next to the WK and Hales would’ve still been out.
