What has Azam Khan achieved compared to Saud Shakeel? Blatant nepotism by Quetta Gladiators. Disgusting to see this and this is part of the reason Pakistan Cricket will never progress. I don't care if Azam Khan makes a 100 or not because his selection is not based on merit!

If he runs a few more singles, we’ll see cracks on the pitch , don’t care how good he is but this fat kid playing today is a slap in the face of guys like Saud
 
Azam 😂 Man, how can you call yourself international player like moin khan, he couldn’t even teach his kids about being fit for international cricket. Look at him and his age he is someone who would not even picked by domestic teams.

Sarfraz is another Captain, who is failed to have any influence on his team management. Atleast Imam has a great start to his career and he looks one for the future. Sarfraz not giving a chance to saud is just shows you how badly these ex cricketers can have influence even though they have retired.

Shehzad when in form is amazing to watch. Has all the shots vs spin and pace. He also really paces his innings well, better than most aside from maybe Haris.

His test record is okay so he has enough temperament/technique for white ball cricket.

I have no idea what has happened to him. I'll take Shehzad over Imam any day in ODIs.

Imam has 1 less century than Shehzad in ODIs in 1/4th number of games.

Shehzad had the ability but he did nothing in 2011 as well as 2015 WC. Yes he is still young but need to show he has improved.

It's not like Imam has done anything that Shehzad isn't capable of.

I may be coming off as biased here, but just watching the match, you can clearly see that Shehzad is a cut above Imam in the shorter formats.

Shehzad is better than Imam, Shan. However i would want Shehzad to play in 1 down position. Babar should open.

Babar is an accumulator, and utilizes the PP really well however has weak power game.

This also allows us to remove imam and have a top 4 of Zaman, Babar, Shehzad, Haris.

I understand what you are saying.

It's an interesting take, but I don't see Babar being moved from #3.

For me, I'd just keep them at their original positions.

But Imam should actually start failing before getting dropped.

Yes remove a guy who was mos against SA, replace him with a guy who hasn't scored runs in years.

Babar opens for the t20 team, we can try experimenting.

And yes, right now Shehzad can only get in as backup on merit.

I don't understand why you are using T20 performance as a barometer for ODI tactics.
