No Sakib did very well yesterday...plus added bowler ability.. I think Mushfiq will come for Vince in future.

Shakib not playing evens thing out. He is arguably the team's best batsman and a the best spinner as well. In these wickets Shakib is damn effective. But to be honest i can hardly care about his performance he plays enough. Mushy doesnt.

And TBH mushy is a better bat than Bopara and probably vince given the pitches

I would have gone for Mushfiq over Bopara, but they have to play an emerging player and they probably don't want to go with Mir Hamza as they already have Amir & Tanvir. The other emerging player is the WK Saif Bangash.

Understandable. Mushy then would have to field which doesnt really help.

Two tacticians as captains; surely will be a great game to watch! Karachi is going to use all the spin options against luke wright so lets see whats going to happen! Too hard to predict who is going to win this one!

Bopara bowling is good on these pitches as well hard to go after him.

Man, this is ridiculous. For those of us playing fantasy, we have to predict the starting XIs beforehand and go based on that, can't even make changes based on the toss because a website like cricketweb follows cricinfo's timings.

Yea i saw it over Twitter too people who play fantasy are so frustrated with this timing issue.

Just sums up what is wrong with these pitches when he can have the same or in some cases, even more effect than a front line seamer.
Makes for very poor quality of cricket.
 
It is so disappointed to see such rusty pitches for Psl. I mean u want to see high scoring games but in actual fact it has been a boring tournament so far. Something need to be done to make it alive again.

Like lahore not making Azhar Ali captain and actually scoring some runs would be a good start.

Seamers go for more runs unless they have good change of pace and yorkers. Nothing wrong with the pitches batsman are just not used to the conditions. The scoring will improve as the matches go on personally if the matches go to the last over or so then I am okay with it even if the total score is 140.

Like one of our fellow member was laughing when i mentioned umar akmal should have been the captain based on that he is an exciting cricketer and it would have done to wonders to his confidence and responsibility point of you. I think he would have learned so much on how to conduct himself in pressure situations. Azhar makes look Pakistan a boring odi side. I mean we used to full of excitement and entertainment in the 90s that era can only come back if we have positive captain like Kohli.
 
Virat Kohli will take India to a new height he is so passionate about his game and he backs attacking cricketing.

Relax , he is a good spinner but he is nowhere near as good a batsman as malik and some of the others .
 
Hopefully nauman anwar and kp have a good game anf gayle fires for lahore .
Also looking forward to watching zia ul haq , asghar and
nawaz.

Nobody is being able to time the ball and even mediocre spinners are extracting turn. Heck, even imad wasim was turning the ball. At the same time 140 kph deliveries were just not arriving to the batsmen who were getting early into their horizontal strokes.

Look at the form babar was in nz where there were true surfaces. These pitches are a curse for strokemakers. All you can do here is block or power-hit, with the art of batsmanship going to the backburner.
 
I am first so disappointed with Lahore Qalandar Shirt design absolutely shocking and terrible. Second Azhar leading sums it up where we heading in this tournament.
 
quetta just looks like it's in a different league compared to the other teams
 
Quetta must be really mediocre if they are being forced to play Chigumbura with the kind of form he is in
 
We should have 6 teams instead of 5 teams. 6th team should be made of emerging (Age U-23) and U-19 best players. So we should get quality players and more competition.
 
Tanverr actually consider himself all rounder.
