Always remember one thing,

In the cricket world, being Pakistan captain is THE MOST difficult job you can think of.

Ground captaincy to deal with many players who are not street smart, who are uneducated, who are not disciplined, who are not fully fit, who are mentally weak, who play selfishly, who cra@p out in pressure, who act like a deer caught in the headlights when the game gets tough, who are involved in team politics and who think of themselves as national heroes, is only small part of the job.

Being a Pakistani captain, you've gotta deal with an incompetent army of inept admins at the cricket board, selectors, coaches, media, nepotism, politics, threats, backstabbing, political influences, enemity and personal vandetta that the press builds up against you... i mean, it's one heck of a messy job unless you become a "Yes Man", that almost all were after Imran and Wasim.
Misbah, Azhar, and now Baber are a classical examples of a classical yes man of a spineless captains.

That is true as a general point, but someone like Wasim does not deserve any leeway or sympathy considering his own “activities” as captain.

1. Border
2. Jayawardene
3. Flemming
4. Taylor
5. Wasim
