Rizwan: 3.5/10 (extra 0.5 for his 49 against NED)
Haris: 7/10 (needs to convert his starts and also too early to rate him)
Shan: 8.5/10 (Most consistent of the lot)
Ifti: 8.5/10 (Would have given 9 if Babr has utilized his bowling properly)
Shadab: 7/10 (Have deducted points as he caused the middle order crash against IND and ZIm with irresponsible shots. Needs to improve his match awareness)
Nawaz: 4/10 (Failed in batting and hardlu utilized as a bowler
Asif Ali: 0/10 (hardly any contribution)
Haider: 0/10 (same as above)
Kushdil: N/A
Fakhar: N/A (shudn't have played against ZIM risking his career. In fact shouldn't have been in the squad)
Wasim: 7/10 (removed 3 for his batting. Needs to improve a lot to be called an all rounder)
Shaheen: 9/10 (Did his best with his dodgy knee. But shudn't have been in the sqaud
Haris: 8/10 (Needs to improve his death bowling)
Naseem: 8/10 (can be expensive at times)

Pakistan Medical Panel: -10/10 They deserve minus 10 out of 10 for picking 2 unfit players in the 15 memeber squad. Shaheen missing out the next 2 series is also their fault. They shuold thank their stars that his injury during teh final didn't turn out career ending.

Coaching Staff: 2/10 Picked wrong team against IND. Didn't have the courag eto convince out of form a Babr to bat at 3. Drafted a half fit Fakhar instead of Haris. Picked Haider. asif and Kushdil in main sqaud. Reasons galore.

Shaheen 8(good Come back in Last 3 games)

Babar 2(batting was terrible but in Captaincy he go to Semi Final)

Rizwan 3(batting was terrible again but his wicket keeping was good like always)


Haris 7 (was a game changer in the Last two group stage matches)

Iftikhar 5 (had 1 or 2 good good games)

Nawaz -1 (couldn't seal Victory on both occasions and didn't bowl much)

Rauf 6(I Expected more wickets from him)

Naseem 4 (didn't take much wickets but was his control was impressive.

Wasim Jnr 6 (was the 4th Seamer did well for this specific role however his batting is that off number 9.

Naseem 6 (Good economy but no penetration with the new ball)

Rauf 8 My player of the tournament. The brain fade against Kohli apart..he was top draw. Absolute gun fielder as well.

Wasim Jnr 6 Probably the worst batting of the so called all rounders. Don’t think he’s held a bat before. Yorkers were good.

M. Harris 6 Needs method to his madness. Lots of potential but lacks game awareness. Hopefully will get better.

These ratings are a bit low aren't they?

Rauf lost 3 points for bottling against Kohli. He never really recovered from that and didn’t have the impact and the wickets that people were expecting from him. His reputation did not grow in this World Cup and I think he will go back to his old self now and blow hot & cold.

Shadab lost 2 points for bottling the India match and the final. His fans say he is the best leg spinner in the game right now, but the difference between his and Adil Rashid’s skill level was immense. His batting was exposed at the MCG in both games. The boundaries seemed too big for his skill level.

Shan lost 2 points for his huge role in the Zimbabwe humiliation. He top scored but he faced 38 balls for 44 runs and should have been able to take Pakistan home. The dismissal was embarrassing.

Seriously half of you guys know nothing about cricket. When you are rating Rizwan, you must remember that he is a wicket-keeper batsman so 5 points for keeping and 5 for batting. His keeping was almost flawless and he performed big in the semi final match against NZ where Babar needed his support badly to get out of the slump he was in. I would give him 4 for keeping and 2 for batting. 6/10. Not a great world cup he had and no doubt, it is time for him to work on his off side game which he totally has it as he had no problem hitting a six towards extra cover and has hit boundaries just about anywhere on off side. It is just that he prefers to play towards leg side a bit too much. Rizwan has it in him to take it to another level and InshaAllah you will see him improve every year because he does not waste time in his off season and works non stop to improve as a player. Haters will have a miserable life following Pakistan cricket as he is not going anywhere for the next 5 to 7 years.

Btw Masood proved you all wrong. Pitches in Australia were not easy to bat on as many batters found it tough, but Masood had no problem because he was always able to read the pitch well and then batted accordingly. Masood should now get an ODI call as well.

Keeping is one of the most important positions in cricket and a very thankless job which can't be compared to other fielders. Check Pant's thread and you will find my comments about his keeping and batting. Thanks

Shaheen was operating on 20% fitness throughout the World Cup and still took 11 wickets. He proved yet again that he is world class and only enhanced his reputation.

Naseem on the other hand took 3 wickets only. The difference between the two is in terms of talent, skill and mentality is massive.

Naseem fans do a lot of propaganda on how he is the most talented bowler Pakistan has, he is the future etc., but the reality is that he is not even half as good as Shaheen.

Most accurate ratings,well done, except 9 for Shadab is too high as he had atleast one below average bowling match and couple of bad batting matches, so overall I would say 8, and similarly Shaheen was quite poor in his first match, though he was not fully fit , so again 8.

Respect for this and for recognising his importance to the team's cause when Babar and Rizwan were batting like tail enders.

I knew he would be good in these conditions because he's intelligent, mentally tough and most importantly because he's made for these conditions as he's got a good range of back foot strokes to complement his defence and game against spin.

Having said that I'm not sure we stick with him in T20Is as he'll be 35 in the next tournament, which'll be held in the Caribbean and US. These conditions won't suit his game so much anyway.

I think he should end his white ball career once the 2023 World Cup has been played out.

People are not able to get this. The fact is that others were so bad that even his medicore innings looked good...He wont be even selected with this strike rate in other teams.
