Match Officials for Kashmir Premier League 2021 announced
Match officials for the first edition of Kashmir Premier League are announced. Eleven umpires, including Aleem Dar from ICC'S elite panel, are appointed for the tournament. The list includes Ahsan Raza, Asif Yaqub, Rashid Riaz and Shozab Raza from ICC's International panel and Faisal Afridi, Ghaffar Kazimi and Imtiaz Iqbal from the elite panel of PCB. Ahmad Shahab, Majid Hussain and Mohammad Sajid from the supplementary panel of the PCB, will also serve as umpires in the tournament.
Two Pakistani match referees, Ali Naqvi and Mohammad Javed, from the International panel of ICC, are appointed to head the playing control team of the tournament.The list of match referees includes Iftikhar Ahmad and Ahmar Saeed also from the elite and supplementary panels of PCB, respectively.
Asif Yaqub and Ahsan Raza will be the on field umpires in the first game of the tournament, with Rashid Riaz and Ahmad Shahab being the third and fourth umpires, respectively. Ali Naqvi will be the match referee of the first game of KPL 2021.

Young Kashmiri Cricketer desperate to put up a fabulous show in KPL
Muzafarabad: Mohammad Mujtaba, a young player from Azad Jammu and Kashmir region of Pakistan, is desperate to put up a great show in Kashmir Premier League. In an interview, the young cricketer said, "I am waiting for the KPL to start desperately as the tournament is the best opportunity for us to showcase our talent. Muzafarabad Cricket Stadium has been constructed as per the requirements of a good international venue."
Another player from the national team of Pakistan, expressed his thoughts regarding KPL and Muzafarabad, "We are here in Muzafarabad for the first time and it looks as if we are in heaven. League will be played in a fabulous atmosphere, we should congratulate the management of KPL who gave organized fantastic tournament."
