Raza Hasan, sensation from U19 levels. Played in domestic, performed. Played every format, performed. Got into Pakistan side with a dream debut and performed against Aussies. Was about to become a regular when an injury puts him away. And then unfortunately, dope test turns to be positive and a 2 year ban in 2015

Now when his ban is over, can he make a comeback. Now, Pak has some young spinners in their bench e.g. Shadab, Asghar. Can he be picked in drafts of PSL3 and again make it big on international level?

Fortunately the one thing Pakistan has never been short of in this generation is spinners. I don't think we really miss Raza Hasan much despite being a very promising talent in his art of left arm spin. It will be hard to make a comeback now, unfortunately the likes of Shadab, Asghar, Usama, Zafar are all quality spinners ahead of him in the pecking order.

Agreed, even if he matches their performances, it will be tough to select him again due to their superiority with the bat.

With Shadab, Imad, and then Asghar on the sidelines, not to mention Nawaz, Usama, and even Hassan Khan showing their quality in the PSL, I don't see Raza coming back in the side, atleast for the next 5 years. And I haven't even mentioned Gohar who hasn't been getting the chances he needs, or Irfan Jr either.

It may be too big a risk for selectors to go with an insincere player and then the presence of few promising blokes around doesn't helps the cause of Raza.
But one thing's there Raza was exceptional T20 bowler who could bowl in any situation and I don't think I have seen anybody bowling 4 overs with that kinda confidence. He was sensational in T20 WC14. Even from the current promising set nobody has looked so much in control as far as bowling restrictive line is concerned. His record speaks for him.
But why on earth he would behave so foolishly and destroy his own career when everything was going well for him? What is so surprising for me to know is that like Sarfaraz he is also a Hifz-ul-Quran. May Allah Grant him wisdom.

Is he actually a hafiz?

Is he actually a hafiz?

Raza was once described by one Pak cricketer (can't remember who) as being "very religious", but this is the first time I'm hearing that he's a Hiz-ul-Quran, so I'm not sure.

Saad Nasim once disclosed in an interview on being asked that he along with Sarfaraz and Raza Hasan are 3 Hafiz-e-Quran in the Pak team. This was quoted by Saj on his Twitter account too.

Wow that's very cool! I admire him for that I don't know why he would involve himself with such things.
