My point is that inferior (but world class nonetheless) players to Messi have come from La Liga to Premier League and thrived, in spite of the so-called 'physical' nature of the league. Some of these players are actually less physical than Messi, who has held his own against defenders twice his size and left them on their backsides.
In fact, I don't recall a single creative and skillful - physical or not - player who has come from La Liga to the Premier League in the last decade and failed. It is ridiculous to suggest that Messi will fail in the PL.
Falcao is not the best example. He was not given enough time and opportunities by Man United and Chelsea after his ACL injury, which is not a minor problem. It can end careers and generally takes a good year or so for the player to find his groove. Yes Ligue 1 is easier to play in than the Premier League, but same Falcao destroyed City in the Champions League. He did not fail in England because he was not a good enough player to do well there, unless you are implying that Giroud is a better number 9 than him.
Obviously, outliers are always there. However, we have seen a consistent pattern of technically good and skillful who have come to the Premier League from La Liga and thrived, and Messi is better than every single one of them, unless you want to argue that he can't shoot like Aguero, can't pass like Ozil, can't dribble like Sanchez and is physically weaker than Silva and Torres.
