I really don't get what's happened to their batting since joining the team. Faheem was a good pinch hitter, I can remember his batting in the warm game against Bangladesh in CT 17 in which he won Pakistan a lost match, and the first ODI against Newzeland in Newzeland where he was batting quite well untill rain came, he was really great had great shots and timing and now look at him where has he gone.
Similarly all i can say for Shadab was that he used to bat 1 down for Pakistan in the U19 World Cup, ahead the likes of Saif Badar.
Why has their batting dropped since joining the team, instead of improving.
Your thoughts?

They weren't that good with the bat to begin with.

Just because they could hold their bat people started hyping them up to be all rounders.

Shadab who isn't even as good as Ashwin with the bat was batting at 7 in the Asia Cup and some other matches.

What I meant was that they were way-way better than what they are now. You must remember Shadab's fifties in the Newzeland tour and Faheem was a capabale finisher. Both drastically dropped in quality after that and if not dropped they should have improved

Look at Hassaan for example, How greatly has he improved his batting

Faheem was never good, have you seen his List A average?

When were they good? They were crap from day 1. Faheem scored on a 30m ground where I can hit sixes also. Shadab is Ahmad Shehzad 2.0 who dives at point for the camera and is crap with the bat. But Kluzener is the worst.
