A few years ago in a moment of heat and grief I deleted some mails from my Gmail account containing some important pics. At that time the decision seemed sensible but now after so long I have suddenly started longing for them(mainly because of Nostalgia and other reasons) and was wondering whether there was any way I could recover those lost emails?
Where do these deleted mails go anyway? Surely there has to be a way to get them all back?

A few years ago? You don't have a chance.

If you deleted it a minute ago, I would recommend turning off your mobile data and recovering your emails from there hoping that it hasn't synced yet.

Unlikely. I recently contacted Google team about recovering logs of emails deleted 4 months ago, and their response was a negative.

Really? There has to be some way :/

Do you any idea where this all deleted stuff goes btw?
Is there any virtual heaven(or hell) for these sort of stuff? Surely the data can't just dissipate into thin air.

By default, deleted emails stay in your trash for 30 days. Once that period passes, you cannot recover emails on your own. Your only hope is to contact Google team, and even they can help you to a certain extent. Most of the people find it hard to recover emails from a few months ago, so your case seems quite hopeless. Still, drop them a message and see what happens.

Will contact them and see if there's any response. Thanks.

Or if you are really desperate, become a most wanted criminal, have CBI deal with Google directly, and somehow get access to your case file using some hacker chick who falls in love with the weight of your :136:.

But that's unlikely too. :))

Shouldn't have deleted that stuff Yar.
Could have come handy my entire life as long as I functioned properly, if you know what I mean :))

It takes upto 60-90 days to remove those deleted emails from google servers and you are talking about years. No chance. Bhool jaa bhai.

I had round 100 of Virat Kohli's personal pics but didn't try to preserve them, didn't know he would become so famous. But then I didn't collect my own pics either.

I have a folder in my computer full of your saved photos and other PPers on here who posted their pics in that famous thread .

Since we are talking recovering photos, please have suggestion for best way to save photos. We have like more than 1000's of pictures to save. LOL

Quite weird dude. You probably have a folder dedicated to Aliasad and Mamoon then.

You got no chance but stick with gmail it is more secure, this is not a joke but I received an unusual sign in email from Microsoft that someone from India got into my account, the IP address linked to a place near Mumbai lol I changed the password but a heads up for everyone that gmail is probably has better security then hotmail

Activate the two step verification. It is more secured then.

I am sure deleted stuff is wiped from Gmail's servers and the freed up memory used again. Memory costs money, and no reason for Gmail to store deleted stuff.

Should have downloaded them first if you did not want them in your inbox. No chance of recovering them now, forget it.
