PM Shahbaz, who is also the patron-in-chief of PCB, is expected to nominate two names for the Board of Governors for the next chairman of the board, sources said.

According to sources, the PM is likely to nominate former PCB chief Najam Sethi and Shakil Sheikh.

Like i said before there is a loophole in the constitution of pcb and through that they will bring in shakil sheikh.

Good news for imad waseem, he will be back in the team through sheikh saab.

I have my issues with shakil sheikh, but than again, he is the guy who made islamabad cricket into a proper structure. Every ground of islamabad had a sponsor due to shakil sheikhs efforts.

Sheikh shakeel gets unnecessary hate around here.... People are not aware why he gets chosen.

Yes, he is a toxic person who (if rumors are true) often tried to stop the careers of players and he also prmotes his son unfairly.

But, when it comes to promotion of cricket, he has done a good job.

I used to play club in rawalpindi. All most all the grounds are terrible, with terrible wickets. Many nets are done on cement and many clubs dont have rollers either to prepare the run up area.

When we used to get a match in Islamabad, we loved going their. All most every ground in islamabad had a seating area under a shed for players. All the grounds had a sponsor which meant that its maintaince cost was covered. Every ground had 2-4 clubs assigned to it.

The guy isnt some loony toon that people assume here. Had i lived in the zone 1 or 2 of islamabad, i would had loved to play in that region.
