As per media reports The PCB has imposed heavy fines on national players for violating discipline.
Fines totaling 3.3 million rupees were imposed on players from the Multan Test against England last October to the South Africa series.
The highest fine was imposed on Aamir Jamal, who wrote "804" on his cap during a test match, amounting to approximately 1.4 million rupees.
Imran is also a former Prime Minister of the country but is in jail now. Jamal is believed to have written this number on his Test cap to show his solidarity towards him. However, the PCB fined him for violating the guidelines which involves avoiding political, religious, or racial statements on the field.
During the Australia tour, Salman Ali Agha, Saim Ayub, and Abdullah Shafique were fined 500,000 rupees each for returning to the hotel late at night.
In the South Africa series Sufyan Muqeem, Usman Khan, Abbas Afridi, and some fast bowler were fined 200 dollars each for being two minutes late returning to the hotel at night.
However, the 200 dollars fines imposed on these players during the South Africa One Day series clean sweep were returned to them as a reward.
