Babar isn't tough enough - you won't ever believe that Imran would allow his fellow team mate to carry him like Madhuri Dixit in front of whole stadium - even for a broken leg or a cracked skull. Whole PAK might not like it, but only, only, only realistic option is Amir - someone who can lead from the front of a young team. If he is clean enough to wear PAK Cap, he is clean enough to strap the arm band.

By the time Hasan might be ready, I believe it's better to invest on Shadab, rather than him.

Captaincy isn't learned with experience - Imran was made first time captain in any pro cricket at 30 & Azhar had 2 years "international experience" when he led PAK in Australia

I can list several top Captains, appointed at young age without much experience. This is one thing that comes from inside, not taught. MSD was made Captain in his 3rd year - and Misbah had 7 years experience only in Test arena in his AUS tour

Captaincy requieres several traits, one of them is experience- that too at the bottom part of the list. None one ticks more boxes than Amir from the top half.

Lol why are people talking about replacing Sarfraz as Test captain already? The guy hasn't even lead us in Tests yet ) I think he should be captain in all 3 formats but he should give up the gloves in Tests due to workload maybe, I don't want him breaking down due to all that pressure.
