Reports of a ceasefire agreed. A nation backed into a corner:

-it’s Nuclear program in tact!

-It’s administration/government still in power!

-Huge, huge damages inflicted on Israel

-Did not surrender, did not show any signs of stepping down!

-Gained adulation and respect all over the world!

-Did not need any help against a country misusing it’s alliance with a Superpower like USA

We stand and applaud you Iran. The world knows it is possible to take on these bullies and still come out on top because Iran has done it!!

There is some news Iran has rejected the ceasefire. I hope they accept it.

Fighting is in the school of Ahle Bait but so is the path patience when dealing with oppressive behaviour.

Iran had every right to defend itself against an unprovoked aggression.

Although it will never compensate for the slaughter in Gaza, some measure of justice has been meted out to the warmongering state of Israel who got a taste of its own medicine.

Netanyahu quickly realised this wasn't rinky dink Hamas or Hezbollah he was fighting, but a centuries old civilisation defined by resilience and sacrifice.

Iran now must rebuild its air defences, missile arsenal and crack down on Mossad infiltrators.

Reportedly, Iran fired the same number of missiles as US munitions used in the strike on its facilities. It also informed Qatar about its intention to strike the Al Udeid base to minimise casualties.

So Iran was relying on US and Qatar to intercept its missiles, for “off ramp”

Lets not forget that Iran also help murder hundreds of thousands of sunnis in Syria and Iraq. It is a point of contemplation for Iranian regime that they need course correction with regards to its neighbours and pretty rapidly at that.

Why would Iran want to wipe US off the face of the map? It is western forces that travel east to conquer, not the other way round. You should know this as a former colony of the British Raj.

Why ? Ask the Islamic mullahs and Khomenei that. They repeatedly made those statements and now when s*** hits the ceiling, they want a ceasefire LOL .. What happened to their river to the sea type of conquest where they will eliminate the satan US off the map.. As Nasser Hussain says, talk is cheap. And regarding british raj - dude thats ancient history. The current gen has nothing to do with it. History should be a guide for making a better future thats all.
 
Both Iran and Israel are breaking ceasefire.

I hope US stays out of it and let them fight or make peace. Trump wants ceasefire and get his Nobel Peace prize.

It went both ways when it came to history.

Only difference is, Brits did not conquer the Eastern lands in the name of Jesus and Christianity.
But Islamic Caliphate expanded all the way to Spain and were at the doors of Vienna ready to conquer and convert everyone in Europe. But their plans did not pan out.

Can either of you name me one credible piece of evidence that Iran was plotting to invade the western world following the Iranian revolution? On the back of their camels maybe? :unsure:

People have observed both Indian and Israeli Armies and Indian Army has much higher and strict standards. Remember that Israel requires all above 18 to serve in IDF while the Indian Army has highly selective policies.
So IDF is not better then Indian Army, if Indians believe it then it is due to their natural fetish with "white skin". In certain domains like "mountain warfare" Indian Army is well above and will outperform Pakistan and even China and that's why China has consistently worked on this weakness by a network on "metal roads and introducing oxygen rich tents etc because India-China confrontation will likely be in this domain. China knows their weakness well and Pakistan doesn't have to worry about this area of Indian Army.

In a fighting war (without Western and Arab blockade) and protection from all sides, Israel and its Army wouldn't last but a few days and most of the soldiers will desert.

From the (Arab and non-Arab) Accounts which I have read Indian Black Cats in Kashmir are well trained, equipped and tough, where the Mujahideen outperform Black cats in Kashmir is terrain knowledge, motivation, fitness and local support. IDF soldiers (from Golani Brigade) get smoked by Hamas in Gaza using soviet era rifles on a daily basis so no comparison to Rashtariyah rifles (deployed in Kashmir) which also take body blows from Mujahideen but for different reasons and there is a whole host of reasons why Indian Army is unable to suppress Jihad in Kashmir...

Don't be impressed by "white skin" of the IDF. Indian military is well trained and tough and better then IDF, they lose because of different reasons.

The Mujahideen who have fought American, Soviet and Indian militaries (and continue to fight) do not belittle or make fun of Indian Army's training and manpower....they state the reasons for Indian Army failures but thats a different discussion.

You can believe your angoor khatey hain theory because clearly for Israel the objective of this war is to deter the iranian ability to make neuclar weapon and changing the regime but none of this happened because Iran destroyed 1/3 of Tela Viv and caused destruction in other cities as well. Iran definitely emerge as victorious considering the odds he was against.

If this war had continued for 2 more months the whole Israel would have ceased to exist.

This version of Iran has a very warped relations with its neighbours and almost caused its own destruction. They should really now behave and stop viewing everything with a Shia prism and find ways to mend fences with their neighbours, open up society and let it flourish. They are suffocating talent to their own detriment.

Some commentators believe that Iran was in the process of mending it's ties with the Arab nations as part of the BRICS alignment so if that was true, the israeli warmongering stance was a strange one, and we need to look at the wider political landscape to see what is really going on.

Only thing they showed was Israel's iron dome isnt really that effective against ballistic missiles and intercepting against barrages of drones and missiles in a convential war cant be kept up for too long. If Iran had kept their launchers and air defense safe they could have done a lot of damage to Israel in those 10 days

Foreign policy wise, neither Russia nor china really came to their aid except for statements. They helped Russia directly in their war in ukraine but Russia didnt return the favour

If they had good relation with Pakistan then it would've atleast meant that they had some sort of supply route to the outside. It was the only country that would have come to their aid in some capacity if there was better relations. But alas, they were too busy blowing smoke up India's backside in the past and actively engaged in the murder of Pakistanis. Even the majority Shia Azerbaijan was actively helping Isreal. I hope baba K got a reality check and realises that Pakistan is vital to the survival of Iran, and does course correction very swiftly.
