Rizwanullah listed as a 17 year old on Cricinfo. Very impressed with this young lad. Smooth run up and bowling action. Very impressive pace and bowling some good bouncers. The batsmen seem late on almost every ball.

He did bowled a bouncer which went for 6 byes and given that the pitch was a dead one and didn’t have much bounce then surely it means it is extreme pace.

Karachi Kings’ towering emerging pacer Rizwanullah, known for his raw pace and ability to clock up to 145 kmph, is set to make headlines in HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 after receiving his debut cap

The 17-year-old right-arm fast bowler, a product of the Karachi Kings Talent Hunt Program, caught the eye of the franchise’s High Performance Coach Mohammad Masroor during a tournament in the provincial capital.

He has represented Karachi Whites at the U-19 level and has also featured in domestic Grade Two cricket.

“I was playing a tournament match in Karachi when Masroor bhai was watching. I bowled well in that match, and after that, he was impressed with my bowling,” Rizwanullah said.

Inspired by former Australian speedster Brett Lee, the teenage pacer, who stands at 6 feet 7 inches, is capable of bowling at speeds of up to 145 kilometers per hour.

He has also played for Port Qasim in Grade Two cricket, where he has a five-wicket haul to his name.

“Brett Lee is my favorite bowler,” he continued.

Masroor Ahmed has closely monitored Rizwanullah’s rise over the past year, with special attention given to his training, diet, and fitness.

“He is 6 feet 7 inches tall and has previously played for Karachi Under-19. He can bowl at 145 Kmph,” Masroor said.

“He has also played Grade Two cricket for Port Qasim, where he took five wickets in one match,” he recalled.

The teenager has impressed many and was also invited to Pakistan’s Test camp during Jason Gillespie’s tenure as head coach.

“Last year, when Jason Gillespie was coach, Rizwanullah was also called up to the Test camp,” Masroor said.

“The teenager has been monitored over the past year, with special focus on his training, diet, and fitness. I hope he will prove to be a good player for Karachi Kings,” he concluded.

Has anyone any idea about his pace after his PSL debut?

Saw a couple of balls but he doesn't look like a 90 mph bowler. The height is a good bonus though.

Give him a break bro it is first game under huge pressure, let him settle his nerves and make an impact.

PSL speed broadcast is pathetic as they only show speed of 20% of the deliveries.

He is not the most accurate bowler and T20 is not his format, any young bowler who is making his debut in international league and getting batterd in initial overs will think about not going for more runs and lose his spot in the playing XI and will try to find accuracy instead of going full throttle.

135-140kph from what little they showed but he does seem very tall and can be handy red ball prospect.

Also clearly seems 17-18 year old

Nothing against him bro. Just wanted to know what to expect from him. From my point of view, if someone is tall, they don't need to even be express. Just accurate with the ability to get bounce is more than enough.

Another crop of bang average bowlers coming through. Was falling over and bowling slot bows at trundling pace of 135kp. Looks another Hasnain type player from his facial expressions. Looks like a typical bottler when put under the pump. Ali Raza only one who looks half decent rest are buffet bowlers

At this age bowlers dont bowl 145kph.

They develop.

The two other under-19 lads Subhan and Seyam are decent too, but Subhan unfortunately plays for Zalmi where Ali Raza is rightfully preferred. Seyam didn’t land a gig as far as I have seen.

Ismail has some pace and guile about him, but all young bowlers are too raw and look under-cooked.

At his age 135 is pretty quick he will develop next two years needs proper management he has potential ali raza is the only bowler i have seen who bowled 140 plus at this age

The slowest he bowled was 135k otherwise all of his displayed deliveries were in 137-140k range.
