Stick to it and don't let one result sway you away from it

This is the only way Pakistan are capable of competing at home

Pakistan bowlers have consistently picked up 20 wkts via spinning pitches, whilst struggled on dead tracks and got carted around

Struggled on green pitches against Bangladesh and got humiliated

Pak batsmen can at least make runs on spinning tracks and most importantly, the bowlers are able to pick up wkts

They need to find the players to compete.

The spin department is bare, Nauman at 40+ is not going to be around for more than a year or so maybe.

Batters aren't developing either.

Rome will never be built in a country like Pakistan

It’s a snake pit. People don’t want to win if it’s not keeping their favourites and stakeholders happy.
Seems like it

Pathetic really because Pakistan Test cricket has been humiliating

Cricket fans with a vision: Rome was not built in a day, we must be patient.

Pakistan joke cricket fans with no vision: Anarkali Bazaar was not built in a day, we must show patience.

Think about it, think about the subtle yet significant difference in this philosophy and way of thinking.

This is where you are as a cricket nation!

If Rome can't be built in a day then let's bring back Kirsten and Gillespie.

I will rather live in their Rome than live in the Rome of Aqib (Mirpur Bangladesh).

Aqib is the Nero of Pakistan cricket. The great fire he is causing will burn our cricket to the ground.

The theme is fine with me but you have to be careful with the quality of pitches. If matches are finishing in 2 days where average spinners are dominating and good batters aren’t able to post runs consistently then it’s not right.

Although, given that Pakistan were set to win a test match in South Africa recently, it’s a proof that the boys can compete on fair test match pitches.

You went from flat as road type pitches where England smashed almost a thousand runs to these kind of lottery pitches where matches are ending in 2 days. So basically went from one extreme to the other extreme. What about a fair balance?

These are desperate tactics that we also used in Bharat but we mostly regretted. Don’t do the same mistakes.

Try to prepare high quality test pitches, let the good teams win if they’re better. Don’t cheat your way and put your future in jeopardy.

Btw not having seen the matches I am not even 100% sure if the pitches were indeed spinning pits or were these just poor batting performances from two bottom tier teams?

I am unable to understand why Pakistan are not able to produce fast bowlers anymore. That is the crux of the problem.

These spinning pitches is just a workaround. A plaster.
