Senior Lawyer Latif Afridi shot dead in Peshawar High Court premises

Latif Afridi was a former president of the Peshawar High Court Bar Association, he had been at the forefront of the lawyers' movement against the Musharraf regime that culminated in the restoration of then Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.

The police have said that the shooter was a relative who killed the senior lawyer due to personal enemity.
