So, West Indies have lost more than half of the series they have played at home, just shows how much they have struggled in the last two decades.

All the other teams have pretty good home records though to be honest.

Yes, in the last 20 years, WI have won only 9 series at home, and lost 16 series.

Goodd thread pls do it for away tour also so I want to know which is worst visiter team .

It is the conditions which plays a role. SA plays at home in conditions which are not alien to Australia and England and hence anyone can beat anyone home or away depending on team strength.

India should also look to produce more balanced wickets or else we will find it harder to win more often against SENA teams in SENA.

I would want a situation where I get 9/10 at home and 8/10 away than me getting a 10/10 at home and 6-6.5/10 away.

Can you make series win % as well. Would be interesting to see if the results are skewed due to lot of drawn series.

For e.g England is at rank 2 in terms of series loss %, will they still be at #2 in terms of series win % compared to Australia?

Series Win/Loss ratio would give a better measure of success, rather than just series win % or
just series loss %.

I will check number of series wins for teams in the last 20 years, and then post it here, when I have time.

As a counterpart to this thread, I would love to see the results of series win percentages for teams away from their home in three categories - overall, outside asia and in asia.

Do you want the records in those categories in the last 20 years or All time records ?

Ok so just finished checking.

Following are the Series Win Loss ratios for teams at home in last 20 years.

1. India ( W/L ratio = 13)

2. England ( W/L ratio = 5.4)

3. Australia ( W/L ratio = 4.5)

4. Pakistan ( W/L ratio = 3.2)

5. South Africa ( W/L ratio = 3.1)

6. New Zealand ( W/L ratio = 2.33)

7. Sri Lanka ( W/L ratio = 2.1)

8. West Indies ( W/L ratio = 0.56)

So, India head and shoulders above everyone else.

All the top 7 teams have a series W/L ratio of more than 2.

Only West Indies have a series W/L ratio of less than 1.
