Fair assessment? or a case of putting Shadab down?

Nothing wrong with that but maybe Pakistan management should try and be better prepared with Shadab for the next game.

well i dont think these kind of statements suits for t20s. specially for westindies because in t20 most often then not if you go through the highlights it will look like almost all wickets are gifted by batsmen and when it comes to westindies they known for this

so his statement doesn't make any sense to me.
did he missed shadad wicket maiden to their inform batsmen samuels? who was hitting fours and sixes against other bowlers for fun. seems like he did .
sour grapes . move on

The West Indian batsmen aren't exactly known for their prowess against spinners so it's a fair comment.

Shadab will have tougher challenges ahead.

So lets see if they continue with gifts today.

I think he is absolutely right. Shadab is a fresh change but is not as skillful as he is made to look at the moment. He still has to develope those cunning skills of a leg spinner.
He is a afridi like leg spinner.

He is nothing like Afridi.

Afridi had no capability to spin the ball, Shadab can already spin the ball a fair bit.

But I do agree he isn't as good as made out to be.

I see more in him as a batsman but looks like Mickey and co. are going to ruin him by sending the likes of Wahab, Wasim and Tanvir ahead of him.

Yesterday was just a sub par total and when he came on to bowl they were under lesser pressure. All part of the learning curve

Then you havent seen the Afridi of late 90s and early 00s. No point arguing
