Should established player be playing in U19 World Cup?

I was really happy knowing that India won the U19 WC but was really surprised to see Shefali Verma there. I believe U19 should be used as tool for advancement rather than bragging rights.
Playing established players in such tournaments defeat their purpose.
It is similar playing overage players which (we)Indians used to do as then faking age on paper was easy.
It's like we are playing local street cricket match and one team brings out Yousuf Pathan. The whole match would be spoiled.
Best thing Dravid did was barring player from appearing in U19 WC more than once as winning it is meaningless if it doesn't enhance talent pool.

It should be a rule that any player who has played more than 5 international games should not appear in U19.

I asked the same question apparently but it seems every team was doing that because the pool of good women players are not many..

Yup. And women play so little cricket overall that even this was valuable match practice in relatively high stakes.

Should not play. It is a tournament for upcoming future talents. And they should only play 1 tournament

If you're U-19, you can play the U-19 WC...its as simple as that. Is it Shefali Verma's fault that she is more highly advanced for her age than just about every other U-19 female cricketer in the world? And why shouldn't India take advantage of a player of her caliber when playing a tournament like this?

Among the major countries very few would have played like that. Notable names are Babar Azam 2010/2012, Sarfraz Khan 2014/16. Played well in both. Sarfraz debuted at the age of 15 or something in his first U19.
